Fashion: Emmys 2014 Best Dressed

It was the Primetime Emmys on Sunday night, here are my best dressed from the glorious red carpet event.
  • Viola Davis wore a cobalt blue Escada dress which had some stunning embellishment and I love the sweetheart neckline too. The colour is radiant against her skintone and the styling is pefect
  • Kate Walsh wore a gorgeous yellow Stephane Rolland Haute Couture gown which fitted like a glove and showed her redheads really can rock any colour, she paired it with glittering Chopard jewels
  • Kate Mara showed her quirky sense of style in a white J Mendel creation with an intricate floral detailing on the bodice and a pair of gorgeous Charlotte Olympia platforms
  • Alison Williams looked every inch the princess in this beautiful Giambattista Valli Couture prom dress, I love the tulle bottom and the patterned top with the black and yellow ribbon worked beautifully

  • Kristen Wiig was ravishing in a white Vera Wang dress, simple yet sophisticated the dress was designed especially for her, the golden skin and beach waves work well on this low key yet beautiful style
  • Kerry Washington wore a burnt orange and black Prada dress with matching Prada black pumps, I love this dress the sparkling sequin detail and the black sparkling underlay too, such an interesting design and Kerry wears it well
  • Natalie Dormer was another in orange and black and much like Kate Mara she wore J Mendel, the high-necked, fitted dress and waves offered the sexy look I'm sure she was going for
  • Jessica Pare wore a black dress which could have been a little boring but this Lanvin beauty is anything but, the draped skirt and the 3D bustier is gorgeous and I love the simple diamond necklace
  • Lena Headey wore an all black ensemble, dress by Rubin Singer, which suited her punky style down to a T, I initially though the platforms were too heavy but any daintier would be the rocky Lena Headey we all know and love
  • Keke Palmer was another in Rubin Singer, she wore a stunning bright blue gown that was one of the most dramatic looks of the night and I thought she looked completely breath-taking
  • I honestly was totally wowed by Lizzy Caplan, I love the actress anyway but she looked phenomenal in a monochrome Donna Karen Atelier gown with cut out detailing and a slick up do
  • Laura Prepon was another brunette who looked beautiful, the shimmering turquoise Gusatvo Cadile gown was rather mermaid like and looked stunning against her porcelain skin and light eyes, she makes me like my pale skin (if only for a minute.)

It was a toss up between Laura and Lizzy but I went for Lizzy Caplan in the end purely because when I saw her I gasped! I honestly have never seen her look so wonderful.

Fashion: Drop Dead Clothing Crazy Life Collection

Drop Dead Clothing lead a crazy life
Oli Sykes is back with another wildly wacky and wonderful Drop Dead clothing line this time inspired by tattoos, kids, cartoons and internet culture; take a look at the Crazy Life Collection.
Having already had great success with Itchy and Scratchy and Sega Classics the Drop Dead team are taking inspiration from the their youth as well as things that stimulate and excite such as the three dot tattoo AKA Mi Vida Loca, internet culture and high end fashion.
This time around they are using the latest printing technology, ensuring customers receive the highest quality products out there, whilst they continue to use the most up to date techniques and materials they are also experimenting with fits, shapes and styles to ensure they are offering the best they can to their consumers.

As always with Drop Dead Clothing the designs for The Crazy Life range are bold, brave and completely uncompromising, you don’t wear a Drop Dead piece of clothing half-heartedly, there is no way to rock a white which reads ‘Don’t F**king talk to me’ without confidence and a grin on your face. The same could be said for the sleeveless top that simply reads ‘Ugh’ and the black gym bag with ‘DEAD’ printed across it in large white writing.
Whilst the prints are delightfully cheeky and a little ‘in your face’ there is an element of nostalgia to all of the designs from Drop Dead, the creators seem to be equally inspired by their own youth as they are the youth of today. The ‘crazy life’ smiley face, alien print and marble effect are all reminiscent of 80s and 90s fashion with a modern twist to bring us back to 2014.
As always with Drop Dead Clothing you are sure to find something that makes you grin, laugh or gasp whether you love it or hate it The Crazy Life Collection will make even the sanest of people a little crazy, and what’s wrong with that?
Available online and in their London and Sheffield stores now, head over to the website to check it out.

Fashion: VMAs 2014 Best Dressed

The VMAs took place on Sunday eve, you can check out the Winners here.
As for me, these are my best dressed from the event, I had a top 8 for this night.

  • Lucy Hale is a little fire cracker, she wore a black Oscar de la Renta prom style dress which had a funky hot pink pattern with matching barbie pink Brian Atwood pumps and a silver belt, her long dark hair was styled in loose waves
  • Demi Lovato was red hot (so oer used but so true) in a Lanvin red gown with a Charlotte Olympia clutch (adore) and gold heels
  • One of my fav from the Kardashian/Jenner clan Kylie wore a black, silk Alexandre Vauthier with gorgeous Gucci heels and perfect make up
  • Her older sister Kendall also made an appearance in an Alion Livne ensemble but it was her golden glow that ticked all the boxes for me
  • How could I not have Katy on here? She totally rocked the Britney inspired denim number that was designed by none other then Versace!
  • Chloe Grace Moretz looked delightful in a sugary sweet outfit by Louis Vuitton, I love the mix of pink shades, she has such a great sense of style and always makes the quirky look work
  • Gwen Stefani was another in pink, her L.A.M.B design was a barbie pink and black ensemble with tailored trousers and a peplum bustier, she kept the styling simple with black heels, nails and jewelry and vintage victory rolls
  • This was my favourite of all Nicki's numerous outfits, she of course wore a snake print mini dress by Saint Laurent paired with nude platform pumps by the same designer. Love the old school Hollywood waves here too
My best dressed for this event goes to Kylie Jenner. She makes me want that dress, it is to die for plus her make up is always impeccable.

Fashion: Teen Choice Awards 2014 Best Dressed

This looked like such a fun event with everybody looking rather summery and in beautiful colours, prints and textures.
Check out my top 12 below:

  • Chloe Grace Moretz wore a super cute red and black ensemble by Valentino paired with her favourite Nudist heeled sandals. The actress is so stylish and always dresses great for her body shape, age and offers her own individual take on fashion.
  • Jennifer Lopez wore the same green, lace Elie Saab dress Toni Garn wore in my Best Dressed from July. Dare I say I prefer JLO's styling? Those shoes her stunning!
  • Shay Mitchell looked beautiful as always in the white lace two piece from Misha Collection, the dark red lips and metallic heels are the perfect addition, flawless as always.
  • Petite actress Lucy Hale was super hot in a red Dior mini with some studded Brian Atwood heels that added a cool edge to the outfit
  • Odeya Rush was another in red, she was definitely the most 'dressed up' for the event but why not? I adore this Monique Lhullier gown, the detailing on the bodice is stunning and the colour looks stunning against her porcelain skin
  • Nina Dobrev is back on the list. Are you shocked? She wore a brightly coloured Vionnet cropped top and shorts combination which had a slight metallic tinge, she added a pair of hot pink Kurt Geiger heels and a fishtail braid
  • Cher Lloyd wore a black Amen bodysuit and Thoery shorts, it looks a little like a playsuit and I love it. She kept the styling and make up simple which works perfectly with such a detailed ensemble
  • Taylor Swift wore a pretty green Novis cropped down and skirt paired with a pair of yellow Charlotte Olympia heels. Taylor is always chic and demure and I love how summery this whole ensemble is

  • Demi Lovato wore a cream, embellished Elisabetta Franchi mini dress with gold heels and a matching clutch with her ombre in a wavy bob, gorgeous.
  • Bella Thorne wore a beautiful azure blue dress by Candies with matching heeled pumps, I love when red heads were blue, this look is fabulous, Bella always nails it.
  • Kim Kardashian was one of the new in black,  zebra, monochrome and leather to be exact, of course the cropped top and pencil skirt was Balmain, I wasn't set on the shoes bu the clothing and beauty side is so very strong I can let it pass
  • Lea Michele was all smiles in a Fausto Puglisi block coloured mini paired with silver Christian Louboutin sandals. A fun, girly look from the Glee star with a sunkissed wavy hairstyle
Best dressed from these 12 goes to Shay Mitchell, I nearly picked her co star because I think Lucy Hale looks just as gorgeous but Shay's dark lips win it for me.

  • Jessica Chastain never fails to look breath-taking on the red carpet, she picks the most fabulous colours to pair with her auburn locks and the blue and gold of this Mary Katrantzou dress she wore to the Ischia Global Film and Music Festival in pure perfection
  • Some people were ensure of Jennifer Lawrence's tan/make up look but I think the colour is great on her, with the blonde cropped look and sunkissed skin she looks rather fresh. I also love the Dior mini and those to-die-for silver Dior heels she wore to the 'Dior' Dinner

Fashion: San Diego Comic Con 2014 Best Dressed

I haven't put up a best dressed list in a while so here we have a few beauties from San Diego Comic Con.

  • The quirky and cute Elle Fanning lived up to the hype in this cool orange Christopher Kane dress with matching heels, the yellow eyeshadow wouldn't work on everybody but Elle rocks it.
  • Holland Roden looked as stunning as always in a black Haney jumpsuit with a lace insert, love the strong lip and that pulled back hair shows off her beautiful face; nice work
  • Kat Graham showed off her toned physic in a black Bec and Bridge ensemble, love the blood red stilettos too
  • My red carpet crush Nina Dobrev was also there in a Naeem Khan creation, she can honestly do no wrong as she paired the vivid mini with lime heels and tousled waves
  • The always gorgeous (WCW anybody?) Megan Fox made an appearance in a black David Koma top and skirt with black strappy sandals and those long brown locks primed to perfection; back on form
  • Back on the list Holland Roden was pretty in a black Self Portrait dress with those ever popular Stuart Weitzman Nudist heels, this time her make up was a little more relaxed and her red hair hung loose
  • Nina Dobrev is another who is on the list twice, it was those bubblegum pink heels that completely stole my heart and I actually adore the blue and white Naeem Khan outfit, clearly I'm not the only one a fan of the designers work
  • Olivia Cooke totally works the shaven head look, she wore a pair of black Paper London shorts but it's that stunning seethrough shirt and though metallic heels which our by Aldo would you believe? Gorgeous.
Best dressed from this guys goes to Elle Fanning, I just love this summery style and she is so adorable. Didn't I say she was one to watch?
