Fashion: Cannes Festival 2014 Best Dressed

You know how I said the MET Gala is my favourite time of the year in regards to red-carpet celebrity  fashion? I lied, Cannes is. The most glamorous, spectacular event wear Gucci to a luncheon is not even remotely over the top.
As always with Cannes a top 12 is simply impossible check out my top 16 Best Dressed from the fabulous festival

  • Blake Lively is certainly making an awesome return to the red carpet, she rocked this deep red Gucci Première gown at the ‘Grace of Monaco’  Premiere, adore the shoes, the make up, the jewels; just red carpet perfection
  • Naomi Watts totally blew me away in this grey/blue Marchesa dress at the ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ premiere, the embellishment is stunning and her grey accessories match wonderfully
  • Cate Blanchett wore a beautiful metallic teal Amrani Privé dress looking rather mermaid like too, the fit i stunning and I love her hair swept up
  • I simply love redheads in blue and Jessica Chastain was gorgeous in this royal blue Atelier Versace asymmetric dress at ‘The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby’ Cannes premiere, I also love the frosted earrings and the red lips; consistently stunning

  • Blake Lively stunned again in this Giambattista Valli Couture ensemble at Grand Journal TV, where else could you wear Couture besides Cannes? Love the nude sandals and simple make up with that to-die for hair. Urgh.
  • Hilary Swank blew me away in this gorgeous white silk Atelier Versace gown for the ‘The Homesman’ Premiere, I'm often a little on this fence with Hilary but this dress is beautiful on her and those blue drop earrings and some gorgeous contrast of colour
  • Jennifer Lawrence is starting to grow out her and I think I quite like this chic bob, she wore (of course) Christian Dior to a party to celebrate Mockingjay movie. This isn't your usual Dior look though and I love the edginess of it
  • Aishwarya Rai was absolutely breath-taking in this shimmering Roberto Cavalli dress at the ‘Two Days, One Night’ (‘Deux Jours, Une Nuit’) Premiere. Everything about this screams Hollywood glamour

  • Sonam Kapoor wore a delightful cornflower blue Elie Saab Couture bandeau gown at the Chopard Dinner. This is a delicious colour and even more glorious against her skin tone, I love that she wore heavy jewelry and kept her hair out of the way letting the outfit do all the talking.
  • Nicole Kidman was radint in a seriously embellished blue Armani Privé gown at the ‘Grace of Monaco’ Premiere, only fitting see as she is the star of the movie. There was some serious glittering with this ensemble but nothing is ever too much for Cannes
  • Eva Longoria kept it simple but glamorous nonetheless in white Gabriela Cadena as she attended the ‘Saint Laurent’ Premiere. It is standard full on perfection from Eva and although its a look we've seen before I love it anyway
  • Jessica Chastain is back again in a lilac Elie Saab Couture number for the ‘Foxcatcher’ Premiere. Her stylist deserves a medal, the use of colour with Jessica is always spot on and she never fails to wear a pair of stunning shoes!

  • Rosie Huntington Whiteley was nothing short of elegant in this shimmering grey Gucci dress at 'The Search' Premiere. This look was all about simple sophistication, keeping everything minimal including the slicked back hair. For me, this is the best she's ever looked.
  • Marion Cotillard looked perfectly adorable in Christian Dior at L'Homme Qu'on Aimait Trop premiere, Marion always manages to make any kind of look stunning. A pleated, ankle swinging, metallic prom dress shouldn't work-especially at Cannes but on Marion it's wonderful!
  • Showing a more casual, but still perfectly put together, look Jessica Chastain wore a  Dolce and Gabbana blue pencil dress at Le Grand Journal studios; white heels, chic sunnies and a wavy do completed the look
  • Dita Von Teese worked her siren look in this black floral wrap around by Blumarine as she attended the amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala, as always with Dita the make up was flawless and she rocked the 50's burlesque hair with ease and confidence.
My best dressed of the event goes to Jessica Chastain, like you didn't see that coming?!
