Fashion: Kids Choice Awards 2014 Best Dressed

It was the 2014 Kids Choice Awards in California the other day so here is just a cheeky mini post on the best dressed of the evening.
(Thanks to Just Jared and Because I'm Fabulous for the images!)
To check out the winners head over to Sugarscape!

  • Zoey Deutch is back on my list in this perfect little Osman ensemble, the pretty tree print is perfect for spring and the muted colours keep it cool. Paired with loose waves and simple black accessories.
  • Victoria Justice wore a signature Versace number, its interesting to see the bold print on such a girly shape but I think it works well. The black bag and white clutch are perfect monochrome accessories to keep the focus on the party dress.
  • It's almost as if Ariana Grande and Victoria have swapped style. Opting for a sleek straightened do as opposed to her wavy ribbon like and bold citrus bodycon number by Alisah Ramadan, I love this style on the actress.
  • Ever the style icon Bella Thorne rocked a stunning jewel green playsuit by Valentino that was gorgeous against her porcelain skin and auburn mermaid waves. Adore the gold metallic Christian Louboutins too. Flawless.
  • Stefanie Scott wore an eye catching coral outfit by Nasty Gal paired with a zebra print clutch, although the dress isn't my style I think she looks wonderful and it suits her girly personality down a T.
  • Ryan Newman wore a brightly coloured Alexander McQueen dress with a snakeskin inspired pattern, I adore this mini dress and the Gucci shoes look fab too.
  • Kira Kosarin In Peggy Hartanto and Gucci sandals, this cobalt blue colour is beautiful against her dark hair and light skin, those chunky gold Gucci sandals are a winner too!
  • At first glance I was unsure of the Saint Laurent shoes with the Calvin Klein number as I feel they are a little heavy but I think it brings some youth to the chic cream top and bottom. Nicola Peltz was as gorgeous as always in this neutral outfit with a soft pink lip and that gorgeous blonde hair left down.
Best dressed for me goes to Bella Thorne. I just adore everything, she continues to be one of the most stylish teens out there.

Beauty: Katy Perry for Eylure

Katy Perry and Eylure’s latest false eyelashes are brighter and bigger than ever before

Katy Perry and Eylure are back again with another range of glam false eyelashes, the latest range from the eyelash geniuses and the princess of pop and all things fun is a glamorous mix of flirty, seductive and long-lasting lashes.
They eased us in with Katy Perry’s cute but quirky range of lashes first time around with the likes of ‘Cool Kitty’ and ‘Oh Honey!’ they then introduced bursts of colour and individual lashes with comic book themed sets such as ‘Ka-ZAM!’ and “Ka-POW!” most recently they created a sparkling array with gold touches and copious amounts of glitter in the form of ‘Sunset Stripped,’ ‘Showtime’ ‘Starstruck’ and ‘Backstage.’ But new for the spring of 2014 Eylure and Katy have gone all out to design the most feminine and fabulous lashes that will have you wanting the entire collection!
There are four pairs to choose from; Lovely Lolita, Feline Fierce, Punk Princess and Banging Beauty.
Lovely Lolita is the most reserved but still offers a full lash look; the shortest of the bunch the Lovely Lolita set are perfect to add a touch of glamour to your everyday beauty look.
Feline Fierce, as the name suggests, will offer you the ultimate cat eye with longer lashes towards the end of the eyes, these are the ideal set to pair with a sultry smoky eye.
Punk Princess isn’t dissimilar to Feline Fierce just with an added edge, a mixture of lash lengths offers extra volume and they still have the longer outer lashes for a funky cat-eye look.
Banging Beauty is the boldest of the four; thick, luscious lashes that are the perfect way to make a statement with your eyes just add a layer of eyeliner and let the lashes do the talking.
All cost £5.95 and are available online from the official Eylure website, no doubt they will soon be available in your local Boots, Superdrug and supermarkets.

Fashion: Charlotte Olympia’s S/S 2014

Charlotte Olympia S/S 14 collection is nautical and nice

The latest range of footwear available from the British accessories designer is a summery, oceanic themed selection of heels, flats and clutches.
It must be so much fun being part of the creative team at Charlotte Olympia, quite possibly one of the most eclectic and exciting shoe companies around you will never see a black stiletto as part of the Charlotte Olympia collection-unless it is adorned with some sort of quirky insignia.
Her Spring/Summer 2014 range of footwear and bags is comically titled ‘Overboard’ as it plays off the theme of the sea. As always in the world of Charlotte Olympia they pick a concept and well and truly run with it, from fish scale wedges to pineapple platforms and embellished anchor sandals this latest collection is not to be missed.
They always keep the classics as part of the collection; the pandora clutch, dolly platform and kitty slipper, it is simply spiced up to fit in with whatever the concept may be that time around. The Pandora clutch includes sparkling purses inserts reminiscent of the glittering ocean with a starfish gold clasp, the dolly platform is available in vivid shades of hot pink, sunshine yellow and apple green with a funky gold skull embellishment, they haven even nicknamed it ‘The Dolly Roger’ and finally the kitty flats are given a sunny makeover with cute sunglasses and neon piping.
Of course there are new additions to the range which still remain with the nautical concept; a pair of gold and silver sequinned wedges which look rather fish-scale like are party-ready and perfect for the soon to be sunny days, a pair of fabulously decorated nude heeled sandals adorned with shimmering shells in the shape of an anchor and another Pandora box clutch with a cute lobster design.
For this particular collection, prices start at £425 and go up to £1,285 even if it just a dream to own a pair of designer Charlotte Olympia heels it is worth checking out the website so you can see what crazy idea she’ll come up with next!

Fashion: Oscars 2014 Best Dressed

Ah it was the Academy Awards last night, did you watch? I watched the red carpet then recorded the ceremony, did miss J-Law falling down again though. There was a great deal of nude, black with bursts of colours from the more adventurous.
He is my best dressed from the night, it was the Oscars so obviously I had more then just 12!

  • Portia De Rossi was there to support her wife, host of the ceremony Ellen DeGeneres. She looked gorgeous in a cream Naeem Khan creation with intricate cut out detailing and some serious gold bling.
  • Lupita Nyong'o blew everybody away in this pastel blue Prada gown, extremely fairy-tale princess like! Right down to the elegant Alice band and sparkling earrings
  • Amy Adams didn't WOW me at first but she looks undeniably stunning in the deep blue dress from Gucci Couture, sometimes keeping it simple is the best option.
  • Jennifer Lawrence faired much better then she ever has in this bright red Christian Dior dress, love that she wore it with silver and I am a big fan of the hair too
  • Oscar nominated Cate Blanchett wore a beautifully delicate Giorgio Armani dress, the nude number had some serious embellishment going on and was quirky enough to show off her personality but elegant enough for the Oscars
  • Jared Leto was one of many males in white but I love his Saint Laurent jacket and the red bow tie, keeping it cool.
  • Charlize Theron wowed in this black Christian Dior Couture gown, I love everything about this look and the dress is breath-taking. Slicked back hair and a dipped necklace were the perfect styling choices.
  • Another in a light shimmering dress was Jessica Biel, she wore a strapless Chanel Couture dress and went for side swept hair

  • Sandra Bullock wore a midnight blue Alexander McQueen dress, not a dissimilar colour to Amy Adams' but Sandra's had an added shine. She paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and side-swept waves
  • Bette Midler was radiant in a Reem Acra number, love the red overlay of this gown and think it suits her little figure down to a T
  • Idina Menzel wore a few gowns on the night but this is my favourite. The rich green Vera Wang dress is wonderfully dramatic and perfect for the Academy Awards, adore that silver necklace too
  • Sarah Paulson wore an Elie Saab dress and you tell straight away who it was designed by. The embellished peach dress fits wonderfully and I love her golden brown hair too with the chic yet simple bob
  • Yet another in a nude, sparkling dress. Jenna Dewan-Tatum caught my attention because of the feathered bottom and divine glittering top half to this Reem Acra ensemble. It may be my favourite out of the all the neutral dresses
  • Jada Pinkett-Smith just upped the colour stakes in this vibrant rosy peach Atelier Versace gown that is stunning against her skin tone.
  • When isn't Kate Hudson on the best dressed list at a red carpet event? She stunned in a white Atelier Versace gown with a plunging necklace and some serious shoulder action. A rather old school Hollywood moment from the actress
  • Kelly Osbourne and her lilac hair was at the awards show with her E! buddies and I much prefer this Badgley Mischka dress to her black one, the cute cape is delightful too
Best Dressed from The Academy Awards goes to Lupita Nyong'o. There was some serious contenders but she blew me away in this pastel blue dress, I adore everything about it. Simple perfection.

Fashion: February 2014 Best Dressed

Best Dressed from February is here :D

  • Sarah Hyland wore a pretty white Camilla & Marc dress to the ‘Modern Family’ Sydney Photocall, this is the best I think I have seen her look, plus she is wearing Charlotte Olympia heels! An instant win for me.
  • I've not seen this young lady before but Zoey Deutch wore a sugary sweet pink Christian Dior dress to the Sydney premiere of ‘Vampire Academy’ and looked beautiful, sleek hair and multi-coloured sandals worked well
  • The ever stylish Lupita Nyong’o wore a vibrant Peter Pilotto dress to the DuJour Magazine Cover Party, the bright blue colours of the entire outfit is radiant against her dark skin tone
  • Jessica Brown Findlay wore a trademark Christian Dior Couture dress to the premiere ‘A New York Winter’s Tale’ in London. I wasn't sure about the pointed heels but they add a little edge to the delightfully sweet dress

  • There are few adults who dress as well as Kiernan Shipka, the teeange beauty wore a summery white Christian Dior dress at Vanity Fair and FIAT Celebration Of ‘Young Hollywood.’ I adore the yellow pumps and the sweet detailing on the dress as well as the sheer overlay, another gorgeous look from her
  • Katy  Perry shimmered in a Marc Jacobs dress at Hollywood Stands Up To Cancer. I love the goth look to this and the heavy accessorizes add a punk edge whereas the glitzy dress keeps it glam and very Katy
  • Shailene Woodley keep it simple but sweet in a peach Jonathan Saunders shift and gold sandals, I would have loved if she amped it up with metallic make up but Shailene is a rather subdued character and this styling suits her personality
  • Aura Garrido wore a breath-taking black Alberta Feretti ruffled dress to the Goya Cinema Awards, I love the addition of the quirky but elegant Louis Vuitton bag too

  • Olivia Munn wore a gorgeous bright blue J.Mendel dress to the 16th Annual Costume Designers Guild Awards. Channelling her inner 50s screen siren she paired it with Hollywood waves and matching earrings
  • Kate Hudson wears yellow far too well, rocking Emilio Pucci at the BVLGARI Presents ‘Decades Of Glamour.’ Wonderfully chic, sexy and cool in yellow and white; a hard look to pull off but she does it well.
  • Emmy Rossum makes so many appearances on my best dressed list, she wore a deliciously dark midnight blue wrap dress by J. Mendel also at BVLGARI Presents ‘Decades Of Glamour.’
  • I’m not 100% on board with the hair but I adore this colour on Amy Adams, the actress wore this Vivienne Westwood dress as she attended the Vanity Fair And Chrysler Toast American Hustle. I am loving pink at the moment, especially this girly bubblegum shade.

For me best dressed this month goes to Zoey Deutch, the young actress was on my list three times because I was just so excited by all of her fashion choices. Cannot wait to see what else she has to offer!
