Beauty: Christmas Nails

The perfect nails for Christmas; from metallic and magic to sparkle and snow

Christmas is less than a week away and with those last minute presents finally wrapped and put under the tree it’s the perfect time to give yourself a merry manicure. If you’re not ready to rock the full on Christmas jumper or wear the musical earrings that sing every Christmas tune out there then why not just add some festivity to your fingernails?

If you can book yourself in for a cheeky Christmas nail makeover before the 25th then fabulous, if not then do not fear as nailing the decorative designs has never been so easy. Check out the top 5 nails perfect for the most wonderful time of the year

The ultimate Christmas nail choice has to be the rich Santa Claus red with a dash of sparkle, whether you decide to go for a red glitter or add some extra sparkle with a gold overlay or gold shimmering tips it’s a sure-fire way to make the simplest of outfits festive

For the snow queen in all of us a pale pink shade dotted with sparkling nail gems of any kind is a simple yet feminine Christmas manicure that looks even better on stilettos nails. Layer up the pink for a strong but sweet colour, wait for it to dry then simply apply the self-adhesive gems for a manicure fit for a royalty.

There are so many different tools available on the high street now that all you need for creating some cool nail art is patience and steady hand!
This glittering blue from Revlon is the perfect setting for a snow inspired design; four coatings are needed with glittery lacquers to ensure you have perfect pigment. Once the polish has dried use the Barry M pen to create whatever snow inspired pattern you like; whether it’s a flurry of snowflakes or falling stars it’s time to get creative!

To make your nails look as though they are covered in tinsel with twinkling fairy lights apply this metallic emerald green by Nubar and top off with Barry M’s superbly named Christmas Tree varnish.  The two will create a dazzling array with the purple, red and gold sequins shining just like baubles on a tree.

5. Christmas Star; Gold Enamel by Guerlain
If you want a more subtle approach, nothing screams Christmas quite like a polish that is as shimmering, smooth and beautiful as liquid gold. This designer hue from Guerlain is a chic, stylish yet delightfully Christmas inspired lacquer that will have you shining brighter than the star atop of the tree.

Demi Lovato has always been a promoter for looking after you, both on the inside and the outside, now she is here to help you “Express your best, most beautiful self,” with her new Devonne skincare line.
Demi Lovato has always been a strong voice in the world of supporting and offering help to those with confidence and mental health issues and she has now taken it upon herself to create a skincare range that can help those who struggle to accept the skin they are in.

The facial cleanser does what it says on the label, it removes make up and dirt but doesn’t strip your skin from its natural oils. It is a rice derived formula that features apple extract to give your skin a boost and mushroom extract to help promote clear skin.
The hydrating mist is a lightweight treatment full of marine and botanical ingredients to help encourage moisture, fade imperfections and also feature liquorice extract that can promote even looking skin.
Finally the primer is a skin clearing product that is both lightweight yet luxurious and features numerous natural elements including rosemary and sunflower oil to help reduce excess oil, rice extract for healthy cellular turnover and like all the other products is paraben free.
The website is full of tips and information in regards to the products, Demi’s ideas and plan as well as how to order, costs and much more.

Fashion: October 2014 Best Dressed

Autumn is in full swing and although I haven't been able to update my blog recently here we have best dressed from October (the best month of course what will Halloween and all)

  • Dakota Fanning is looked radiant in a red, tassel detailed Valentino dress and studded pumps at the ‘Effie Gray’ World Premiere. Her icy white, pale blonde locks and those blue eyes really are a striking combination
  • The younger Fanning sister Elle is equally as stylish and beautiful with her new chocolate hair and a nude Rochas gown as she made an appearance at the Mill Valley Film Festival
  • Leighton Meester attended the same event and wore a pretty and chic monochrome ensemble by Narciso Rodriguez, a hint of cobalt blue offered a modern edge
  • Kristen Stewart is back on the red carpet and she is back in Chanel Couture, she wore this beautifully quirky yet wonderfully classic black and silver dress as she went to the screening of her latest movie in New York

  • Odeya Rush was looking every inch a princess in this sparkling Christian Dior dress at the 2014 Princess Grace Awards Gala. The lilac silver dress is beautiful and I love that she kept her hair out of her face and away from the neckline to showcase the glittering bodice
  • My ultimate girl crush Demi Lovato looked super hot in a bright pink Philip Armstrong bodycon co-ord as she attended Vevo CERTIFIED SuperFanFest. The black accessories are enough with such an eye-catching dress and that awesome turquoise dip dye and undercut.
  • Annasophia Robb, ever the young fashionista wore a grey Markus Lupfer skater dress at FFANY Shoes on Sale Event. Annasophia is always on point with the styling and the sleek ponytail, mint box clutch and simple silver bangle simply prove my point.
  • Kate Mara shocked me in the lime J Mendel number, in a good way. As she made her way to the Jimmy Choo New Bond Street Townhouse & Vices Launch Party she wore a fitted mini dress with khaki heels and a matching clutch, a step out of her comfort zone but gorgeous as always.

  • The always beautiful Lizzy Caplan wore a super cute Elie Saab dress at the 2014 Variety Power of Women Event. I'm so used to seeing detailed, extravagant gowns by Elie Saab that this pretty, little collared dress is a lovely change. Lizzy paired with soft up do and nude heels to offer a pretty perfect ensemble
  • Megan Fox continued to amp up her vixen factor as she wore this glorious deep red Versace full length dress as she attended Ferrari’s 60th Anniversary In The USA Gala. I love her hair here, wonderful length on her and the make up is spot on too.
  • Lily Collins wore a stunning purple ombre strapless dress from the Elie Saab Couture collection as she bared the wind for the ‘Love, Rosie’ Rome Film Festival Premiere. I was a little put off by the black platforms but you everything is too beautiful to let that ruin it.
  • Taissa Farmiga wore a fabulous metallic ML Monique Lhuillier dress to the ‘The Judge’ LA Premiere. The yellow gold metallic against the dark pink makes it almost look like fire. The neckline and shape is perfect on Taissa and muted styling lets the beautiful dress take centre stage.
My best dressed for October goes to Demi Lovato. I know there are a great deal of gowns, glitter and drama on this list but when I saw Demi I thought she looked absolutely wonderful!

Life: Update

My laptop decided to die on me!
I was without it for about six weeks, oh the torture. I haven't been able to write, in any way, nor have I been able to download new music or catch up on TV! Lost without this beauty.
It turns out the motherboard was knackered but it is all fixed now, thanks to Papa Vierke. Having said that the battery is on it's way out too!! Brilliant.

Anyway, I feel like I've been super busy throughout September and October, I didn't manage to do ANY of my journalism or anything! Now it's November!

Anyway I'll be back on track now, new fashion, news etc all coming soon

:)

Fashion: September 2014 Best Dressed

Check me out finally posting a best dressed list at the right time!

  • A favourite of mine Jessica Chastain wore a stunning prom style Oscar de la Renta dress to Deauville American Film Festival. The raspberry ensemble is glorious against her porcelain skin and fiery waves
  • Cara Delevigne rocked a blue velvet Emilio Pucci androgynous look at Vogue London Fashion Week Dinner. I love how mannish the blazer dress but the chic heels and smokey eyes are a hot contrast
  • Another love, Emily Blunt attended George Clooney's wedding wearing a beautiful bright turquoise Emilio Pucci embellished gown paired with pink lips, stunning jewels and a sleek bob
  • Diane Kruger, ever the style chameleon, wore a Prabal Guring creation to InStyle 20th Celebration. This is such a mix of colours, styles and shapes but Diane makes it work wonderfully and I love the hot pink clutch next to the pastel outfit

  • I originally put this in my August Best Dressed but it just missed the mark! I simply love the rich colour of the Mary Katrantzou dress and the hot pink heels Amanda Seyfriend wore to Toronto Film Festival. Her hair is a little lackluster but the dress is enough for me
  • The only guy on my list is Eddie Redmayne, he wore a perfectly tailored teal suit from Burberry Prorsum also at Toronto Film Festival, this is such a classic shape but the colour and bold blue accessories ante up the edge
  • Kate Beckinsale rocked a nude Azzaro Couture jumpsuit at the same event. Her golden tan, dark nails and mini clutch, not to mention that gloriously voluminous hair all add to the appeal of this look
  • Ever the quirky fashionista, Dakota Fanning wore a purple and mint green Kenzo dress paired with cobalt blue heeled sandals by the same designer as she attended Fashion Week. Dakota is constantly exciting to watch on the red carpet.

  • Alexandra Daddario wore a breath-taking royal purple lace Reem Acra gown as she attended Venice Film Festival Premiere. Paired with side-swept Hollywood waves and bold red lip this is exactly how to work the ultimate rec carpet look. I adore this from head to toe.
  • Jourdan Dunn wore a delightful pastel blue quilted Moschino co ord as she attended London Fashion Week Day, the cute ensemble was given a rocky twist with the gold chain and those to die for pumps. Very Cher Horowitz
  • Another young style icon who is always a dream to see on the red carpet, is Chloe Grace Moretz. She was looking beautiful in Christian Dior Couture at Toronto Film Festival. This is such a wonderful dress and she more than does it justice, I love that it is clearly trademark Dior but the black panel and over size mesh detailing give it enough edge to suit Chloe's style.
  • Model and brunette Beauty Emily Ratajkowski was looking red hot in this slinky bardot SAFiYAA number as she attended the premiere of Gone Girl in NYC. Her long waves and the dress were enough, no extra styling was required to make this a Best Dressed Contender.
Overall September was a pretty strong month from everybody. My best dressed definitely goes to Alexandra Daddarrio, I think partly because this is exactly the type of dress I would love to own!

Fashion: August 2014 Best Dressed

Better late than never, here we have best dressed from my birthday month. Everybody was on form :D

  • I was torn between two extremely different looks from Jessica Alba but went for this candy pink dress by Antonio Beradi as she attended Good Morning America, I love the sleek hair and the contrasting silver platforms.
  • Kiernan Shipka, ever the stylish teen, wore a delightful yellow Giambattista Valli dress with black Nudist sandals and a thin black belt to oull the look together.
  • My ultimate icon in regards to EVERYTHING, Demi Lovato wore a fab black Luca Couture ruffled dress and paired it with a white chiffon jacket and a pair of Jeffrey Campbell boots to give that classic Demi edge
  • The day Nina Dobrev doesn't make it my best dressed list will be a sad one! The Vampire Diaires actress wore a funky tribal printed Zuhair Murad mini dress and black heels as she attended the Lets Be Cops premiere
  • Sophia Bush wowed in a gorgeous lemon Maria Lucia Hohan outfit with silver metallic peep toes, this dress is simply breath-taking variety and women in film
  • Megan Fox has been rocking some serious mini dresses as she promotes The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I particularly loved this cream Marc Jacobs mini she owre, the Christian Louboutin clutch and those gorgeous waves are the ideal accompaniment
  • Kim Kardashian West has also been on form recently, I adored this black Givenchy skirt and nude Prada sandals she wore as she was out and about in NYC
  • Sometimes the popstar can fail to make a statement but this time Iggy Azalea completely nailed it in this bright orange bodycon number Cushnie et Ochs  SLS Las Vegas Hotel Grand Opening

  • Dakota Fanning wore head to toe Miu Miu at the Venice Film Festival, I do love the dress but the platforms and the clutch are what I really love about this, such a stunning shade of green
  • Sarah Hyland made an appearance at Audi celebrates the Emmys and this is possibly my favourite look from Sarah. She has come so far in regards to style and this monochrome Alice + Olivia playsuit is such a hit, paired with a fishtail braid and Jimmy Choo is is perfectly sexy
  • Kylie Jenner wore a urban inspired all black outfit as she celebrated her DuJour magazine cover, she paired the cropped top and sports luxe trousers a pair of Christin Louboutin Impera lace up pumps
  • Priyanka Chopra was at the music launch of her latest film Mary Kom where she wore the beautiful duck egg blue Rachel Gilbert outfit, the photo does not do it justice and elegant doesn't seem like a strong enough word, she looks so beautifully chic
Best dressed for August out of these 12 ladies goes to Sophia Bush, I really adore the dress and her styling is so on point

Fashion: Barbie's Very Own Fashion Line

Mattel Inc partners up with three fashion labels to create Barbie inspired clothing lines
The most famous toy manufacturing company around, Mattel, will be partnering up with Forever 21, Wildfox and Lord & Taylor to create a fashion range inspired by their most famous creation; Barbie.
Since its launch in 1959 the Barbie doll has become one of the most popular toys ever to be created with a whole host of memorabilia and merchandise not to mention movies, TV shows, make up lines and music inspired by the infamous plastic toy, fifty five years after its birth Mattel have decided to officially pair up with numerous fashion brands to create a much-anticipated clothing line for the Barbie Girl in all of us.
Lord & Taylor are taking notes from Barbie circa the 1950s with a 12 piece sleepwear collection priced around the £20 mark and available to purchase from September 14th.
The second fashion retailer Mattel have on board is Wildfox, an L.A based celeb favourite that is famous for creating cute and quirky knitwear with a vintage feel. Wildfox will be designing an 8-piece set titled “The Wildfox Dreamhouse” that will go live in November, the most expensive of the bunch with prices starting at £22 and reaching £110, The Wildfox Dreamhouse range will be based on the fashion of the Malibu Barbie from the 80s.
Finally, Forever 21 are using the 90’s Barbie style for inspiration and will be the first to drop their collection on September 5th, it will feature a range of cosmetics, accessories and clothing and will be the most affordable with a starting price of just £2!
Mattel claims that the clothes will be suitable for all age ranges and with the style inspiration spanning over several decades there is no doubt that the designs will evoke some serious nostalgia for all of those whose childhood dream was to dress just like Barbie.

Fashion: Emmys 2014 Best Dressed

It was the Primetime Emmys on Sunday night, here are my best dressed from the glorious red carpet event.
  • Viola Davis wore a cobalt blue Escada dress which had some stunning embellishment and I love the sweetheart neckline too. The colour is radiant against her skintone and the styling is pefect
  • Kate Walsh wore a gorgeous yellow Stephane Rolland Haute Couture gown which fitted like a glove and showed her redheads really can rock any colour, she paired it with glittering Chopard jewels
  • Kate Mara showed her quirky sense of style in a white J Mendel creation with an intricate floral detailing on the bodice and a pair of gorgeous Charlotte Olympia platforms
  • Alison Williams looked every inch the princess in this beautiful Giambattista Valli Couture prom dress, I love the tulle bottom and the patterned top with the black and yellow ribbon worked beautifully

  • Kristen Wiig was ravishing in a white Vera Wang dress, simple yet sophisticated the dress was designed especially for her, the golden skin and beach waves work well on this low key yet beautiful style
  • Kerry Washington wore a burnt orange and black Prada dress with matching Prada black pumps, I love this dress the sparkling sequin detail and the black sparkling underlay too, such an interesting design and Kerry wears it well
  • Natalie Dormer was another in orange and black and much like Kate Mara she wore J Mendel, the high-necked, fitted dress and waves offered the sexy look I'm sure she was going for
  • Jessica Pare wore a black dress which could have been a little boring but this Lanvin beauty is anything but, the draped skirt and the 3D bustier is gorgeous and I love the simple diamond necklace
  • Lena Headey wore an all black ensemble, dress by Rubin Singer, which suited her punky style down to a T, I initially though the platforms were too heavy but any daintier would be the rocky Lena Headey we all know and love
  • Keke Palmer was another in Rubin Singer, she wore a stunning bright blue gown that was one of the most dramatic looks of the night and I thought she looked completely breath-taking
  • I honestly was totally wowed by Lizzy Caplan, I love the actress anyway but she looked phenomenal in a monochrome Donna Karen Atelier gown with cut out detailing and a slick up do
  • Laura Prepon was another brunette who looked beautiful, the shimmering turquoise Gusatvo Cadile gown was rather mermaid like and looked stunning against her porcelain skin and light eyes, she makes me like my pale skin (if only for a minute.)

It was a toss up between Laura and Lizzy but I went for Lizzy Caplan in the end purely because when I saw her I gasped! I honestly have never seen her look so wonderful.

Fashion: Drop Dead Clothing Crazy Life Collection

Drop Dead Clothing lead a crazy life
Oli Sykes is back with another wildly wacky and wonderful Drop Dead clothing line this time inspired by tattoos, kids, cartoons and internet culture; take a look at the Crazy Life Collection.
Having already had great success with Itchy and Scratchy and Sega Classics the Drop Dead team are taking inspiration from the their youth as well as things that stimulate and excite such as the three dot tattoo AKA Mi Vida Loca, internet culture and high end fashion.
This time around they are using the latest printing technology, ensuring customers receive the highest quality products out there, whilst they continue to use the most up to date techniques and materials they are also experimenting with fits, shapes and styles to ensure they are offering the best they can to their consumers.

As always with Drop Dead Clothing the designs for The Crazy Life range are bold, brave and completely uncompromising, you don’t wear a Drop Dead piece of clothing half-heartedly, there is no way to rock a white which reads ‘Don’t F**king talk to me’ without confidence and a grin on your face. The same could be said for the sleeveless top that simply reads ‘Ugh’ and the black gym bag with ‘DEAD’ printed across it in large white writing.
Whilst the prints are delightfully cheeky and a little ‘in your face’ there is an element of nostalgia to all of the designs from Drop Dead, the creators seem to be equally inspired by their own youth as they are the youth of today. The ‘crazy life’ smiley face, alien print and marble effect are all reminiscent of 80s and 90s fashion with a modern twist to bring us back to 2014.
As always with Drop Dead Clothing you are sure to find something that makes you grin, laugh or gasp whether you love it or hate it The Crazy Life Collection will make even the sanest of people a little crazy, and what’s wrong with that?
Available online and in their London and Sheffield stores now, head over to the website to check it out.

This looked like such a fun event with everybody looking rather summery and in beautiful colours, prints and textures.
Check out my top 12 below:

  • Petite actress Lucy Hale was super hot in a red Dior mini with some studded Brian Atwood heels that added a cool edge to the outfit

Fashion: Drop Dead Clothing Meets Itchy and Scratchy

Drop Dead Clothing unleashes the Itchy & Scratchy collection onto the unsuspecting world of music and fashion
A favourite among scene singers, Drop Dead Clothing’s latest range of clothes and accessories features imagery from the fictional animated show made famous by The Simpsons; The Itchy and Scratchy Show. An unprecedented but genius idea, the fashion range is full of iconic Itchy and Scratchy scenarios and features everything from snapbacks and hoodies to joggers and keyrings.
Drop Dead Clothing was founded in 2005 by the lead singer of metalcore band Bring Me The Horizon, Oli Sykes. In the past nine years the alternative clothing has become wildly popular and everybody from actor Jamie Campbell Bower to singer Kellan Quinn of Sleeping with Sirens has been seen wearing a piece of the Drop Dead collection.
At first Sykes would just create the designs himself but as the love for the label grew he started to pair up with several other artists for support before opening a store in London, Carnaby with the headquarters remaining in Sheffield, the birthplace of the brand.
As we roll into the summer the British singer had unveiled the company’s coolest and quirkiest range yet; be prepared to fall to in love with that fiendish mouse and crazy cat all over again.

If you head over to the website you can see the collection in full, for the ladies there are tie lilac tie dye crop tops with Krusty the Clowns crazed face, a loose knit purple jumper printed with Itchy and Scratchy’s profile and black leggings with the same quirky design. For the lads there are printed hoodies, tees featuring the bizarre but iconic Itchy and Scratchy scenes and accessories galore. The sections are marked as ‘Girls’ and ‘Guys’ but many of the pieces are unisex including several of the tees, vests and hats.
Prices are affordable from Drop Dead Clothing, starting at £8 for the keyrings, with a tee costing around £30 and £60 for a hoodie.
Head over to The Upcoming to see this and many other articles!

Fashion: Cannes Festival 2014 Best Dressed

You know how I said the MET Gala is my favourite time of the year in regards to red-carpet celebrity  fashion? I lied, Cannes is. The most glamorous, spectacular event wear Gucci to a luncheon is not even remotely over the top.
As always with Cannes a top 12 is simply impossible check out my top 16 Best Dressed from the fabulous festival

  • Blake Lively is certainly making an awesome return to the red carpet, she rocked this deep red Gucci Première gown at the ‘Grace of Monaco’  Premiere, adore the shoes, the make up, the jewels; just red carpet perfection
  • Naomi Watts totally blew me away in this grey/blue Marchesa dress at the ‘How To Train Your Dragon 2′ premiere, the embellishment is stunning and her grey accessories match wonderfully
  • Cate Blanchett wore a beautiful metallic teal Amrani Privé dress looking rather mermaid like too, the fit i stunning and I love her hair swept up
  • I simply love redheads in blue and Jessica Chastain was gorgeous in this royal blue Atelier Versace asymmetric dress at ‘The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby’ Cannes premiere, I also love the frosted earrings and the red lips; consistently stunning

  • Blake Lively stunned again in this Giambattista Valli Couture ensemble at Grand Journal TV, where else could you wear Couture besides Cannes? Love the nude sandals and simple make up with that to-die for hair. Urgh.
  • Hilary Swank blew me away in this gorgeous white silk Atelier Versace gown for the ‘The Homesman’ Premiere, I'm often a little on this fence with Hilary but this dress is beautiful on her and those blue drop earrings and some gorgeous contrast of colour
  • Jennifer Lawrence is starting to grow out her and I think I quite like this chic bob, she wore (of course) Christian Dior to a party to celebrate Mockingjay movie. This isn't your usual Dior look though and I love the edginess of it
  • Aishwarya Rai was absolutely breath-taking in this shimmering Roberto Cavalli dress at the ‘Two Days, One Night’ (‘Deux Jours, Une Nuit’) Premiere. Everything about this screams Hollywood glamour

  • Sonam Kapoor wore a delightful cornflower blue Elie Saab Couture bandeau gown at the Chopard Dinner. This is a delicious colour and even more glorious against her skin tone, I love that she wore heavy jewelry and kept her hair out of the way letting the outfit do all the talking.
  • Nicole Kidman was radint in a seriously embellished blue Armani Privé gown at the ‘Grace of Monaco’ Premiere, only fitting see as she is the star of the movie. There was some serious glittering with this ensemble but nothing is ever too much for Cannes
  • Eva Longoria kept it simple but glamorous nonetheless in white Gabriela Cadena as she attended the ‘Saint Laurent’ Premiere. It is standard full on perfection from Eva and although its a look we've seen before I love it anyway
  • Jessica Chastain is back again in a lilac Elie Saab Couture number for the ‘Foxcatcher’ Premiere. Her stylist deserves a medal, the use of colour with Jessica is always spot on and she never fails to wear a pair of stunning shoes!

  • Rosie Huntington Whiteley was nothing short of elegant in this shimmering grey Gucci dress at 'The Search' Premiere. This look was all about simple sophistication, keeping everything minimal including the slicked back hair. For me, this is the best she's ever looked.
  • Marion Cotillard looked perfectly adorable in Christian Dior at L'Homme Qu'on Aimait Trop premiere, Marion always manages to make any kind of look stunning. A pleated, ankle swinging, metallic prom dress shouldn't work-especially at Cannes but on Marion it's wonderful!
  • Showing a more casual, but still perfectly put together, look Jessica Chastain wore a  Dolce and Gabbana blue pencil dress at Le Grand Journal studios; white heels, chic sunnies and a wavy do completed the look
  • Dita Von Teese worked her siren look in this black floral wrap around by Blumarine as she attended the amfAR Cinema Against Aids Gala, as always with Dita the make up was flawless and she rocked the 50's burlesque hair with ease and confidence.
My best dressed of the event goes to Jessica Chastain, like you didn't see that coming?!

Fashion: Met Gala 2014 Best Dressed

I think that the MET Gala is one of my favourite fashion events and I am sure I'm not the only one who thinks that. Each year a theme is implemented and stars go all out in the glamour stakes to rock the most outrageously fabulous outfit. This year was no different as the theme of 'Ballgowns' was thrown into the mix with Charles James: Beyond Fashion being celebrated.
There were a few people who I thought looked great (Cara Delevigne, Sarah Paulson, Mario Cotillard) but for me they didn't embrace the theme so I decided not to put them on the list.
For such a glamorous event I have picked a top 16:

  • Georgia Jagger wore a black Thierry Mugler gown with a deep V and white lining, love the Sergio Rossi shoes too and the golden waves
  • Kendall Jenner wore a Topshop bandeau dress, yep Topshop! I didn't know they made such clothing. Bouffant hair, Chopard jewels and golden make up complete the look
  • Kate Bosworth was delightful in a slinky rose pink Stella McCartney dress that showed off her tiny frame
  • Reese Witherspoon also wore a pink Stella McCartney dress but hers was more of a glorious fuchsia shade and had a distinctly old Hollywood feel to it
  • Ivanka Trump wore a lavish green gown by Oscar De La Renta, I love the comparison of the olive green/lime green dress paired with her golden bun and deep red lips
  • Blake Lively wore Gucci, of course, and if there is something Blake does well that is ork a red carpet. I adore everything about this ensemble and the train on that Gucci gown is divine
  • Zooey Deschanel was glorious in a midnight blue Tommy Hilfiger dress. The colour looks stunning against her porcelain skin tone and make her baby blue pop. The neckline, shape and colour all work wonderfully in her favour.
  • Emma Stone wore a Thakoon to piece compries of a baby pink crop and hot pink maxi, she paired the stunning outfit with metallic Miu Miu sandals and a side-swept messy braid
  • Kim Kardashian wore a deep blue Lanvin dress with a thigh split and thick black betl, she partnered with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and her trademark long lashes
  • Diane Kruger never disappoints when it comes to fashion. Although she has a style I could never work, she is constantly chic and classically stylish but still manages to add some edge to her look and this Jason Wu for Hugo Boss pale lavender dress is simply divine.
  • Jessica Pare wore a busy Michael Kors strapless dress that I loved, once again it isn't a design I would pick but it works beautifully on the actress. Paired with that pink lip and dark up do she looked beautiful.
  • Bee Shaffer had a true princess moment in this ice blue Alexander McQueen gown, I love how she added a modern twist with the embellished knuckle duster clutch but kept it classic with the chignon

  • I haven't seen Rachel McAdams on the red carpet much recently but the actress looked lovely in a smile blush coloured Calvin Klein number but of me wished for some diamonds but she looks pretty nonetheless
  • The young fashionista, Hailee Steinfeld wore a monochrome gown by possibly her favourite designer Prabal Gurung she paired it with dark eyes and Charlotte Olympia platforms.
  • Toni Garn was another in Topshop (simply have to check out these gowns!) she wore a powder blue dress, not that dissimilar to Bee Shaffer's, shows that the colour works on porcelain brunettes and sunkissed blondes
  • Anne Hathaway was red hot in Calvin Klein, it seems to be a mixture of Emma Stone and Rachel McAdams dresses. Styled to perfection with drop earrings and a black box clutch
