Fashion: November 2013 Best Dressed

For this months best dressed it took me longer than usual to find a top 12 as I felt that this Autumn month lacked style. Perhaps a little ironic as the British Fashion Awards also took place....

  • Alexa Chung was pretty in Stella McCartney at The British Fashion Awards, love her hair and the black wedges add edge to the cute dress
  • Jessica Biel stunned in monochrome Christian Dior at Guggenhiem International Gala
  • Natalie Portman also wore Christian Dior (no surprise there) and this ensemble shows of her petite frame and slim waist
  • Zosia Mamet wore black Rebecca Minkoff at Gotham Independent Film Awards, I am in love with those heels she has one, this is the best she has ever looked in my opinion.
  • I was unsure about the sandals but I adore the Dolce and Gabbana dress on Scarlet Johansson at Rome Film Festival, cute ponytail too
  • Jamie Alexander wowed everybody when she wore this revealing Azzaro number to the Thor 2 premiere. I love it and she is simply stunning.
  • Taylor Swift looked like a beautiful little snowflake in this glistening Reem Acra gown she wore to Centrepoint Winter Whites Gala
  • As chic and stylish as always Olivia Palermo wore a Whistles creation to a Marie Claire event, the pumps add edge and the hair keeps it young.
  • Nina Dobrev was radiant as always in a bright Naeem Khan mini dress at The Vampire Diaries 100th ep celebration, love the Jimmy Choo sandals too
  • Naomie Harris  wore trademark Vivienne Westwood to the BAFTA LA Britannia Awards, What I love about this is the mint Christian Louboutins and the print of the dress
  • Amy Adams was looking sultry in Diane von Furstenberg at the American Hustle LA screening, this sexy screen siren look suits her.
  • Sonia Sui was stunning in a beautiful black Giorgio Armani at the 50th Golden Horse awards, styled to perfection with a classic hairstyle, statement jewels and a clutch

There is also a pair of party ready metallic heeled sandals with a Christmas bow on top of the toes, fur trimmed white booties and a patent clutch bag embroidered with a cute Rudolph design all designed to bring an element of festivity to any outfit.

This time round the sought-after clear box clutch features a festive holly and berry clasp with deep green, berry red and black inserts, the Dolly platfoms are also given a jolly update and are available in either a velvet Santa Claus red with a gold ‘Jingle Bells’ ankle strap or bold black with a flirty mistletoe detailing on the toe, finally the Kitty pumps have been given a glitzy make over and are available in sparkling silver.
There is a total of 14 pieces in this merry little set and most certainly at least one item will catch your eye.

Fashion: InStyle Swimwear Guest Post

It may be December but who doesn't love a hot getaway this time or year or perhaps you're getting ready for you 2014 holiday? Either way check out the guest post from Susan Bodack at InStyle Swimwear below!

Hottest 2014 Resort Trends
Susan Bodack is the Social Media Marketing Manager at US-based internet retailer specializing in trendy designer swimwear, resort fashion and accessories. Regardless of your location, will have you looking perfectly cabana-chic from head to toe. For more information on the 2014 resort trends or the company, check out their swimwear blog, Beauty and the Beach.

The official start of 2014 will be here before you know it. A new year allows you to start fresh and set new goals, but most importantly, it brings you one step closer to another swimsuit season! It's never too early to start looking ahead to those warmer days to come, especially since the 2014 resort collections are already pouring in to the hottest swimwear retailers around the world. For all those who want to stay ahead of the trend game, here's what you can look forward to this season.

Bombshell Bustiers
Designers recognize a great thing when they see it, and the sexy bustier trend is back with a vengeance for 2014. Several designers have added these va-va-voom tops to their swimwear lineup, so you're sure to see a few one-piece and two-pieces bustier styles from your favorite brands. Some feature sexy corset-inspired backs while others are cut a bit longer so they can double as a crop top, but all styles will help boost you up and have you looking like a real beach bombshell.
Sporty-Chic Styles
In other design news, athletic beach-goers and those who crave more coverage and support can look forward to more sporty-chic suits and active-minded styles. Both high fashion designers and dedicated surf companies seem to be enjoying creating a larger variety of sporty-chic fashions. While some are taking to neoprene, others are simply creating more supportive athletic-style tops and generously cut boyshort bottoms that stay put and move with the wearer. In addition, rash guards are popping up everywhere in both practical and more fashionable varieties, perfect for surfing or simply covering up to and from the beach.

Chevron Prints
If you're into prints, this 2014 resort trend is right up your alley. Chevron prints and patterns are huge this season and are being featured in one-pieces, bikinis, cover-ups and accessories. Whether you enjoy basic colors and classic combinations or attention-grabbing neon shades, chevron prints are being spotted in this season's hottest resort collections. Think mod black and white chevron prints, chic crocheted chevron patterns in a rainbow of colors and neutral chevron prints with electric pops of neon.

Metallic Everything
Metallics will also be huge in 2014, regardless of the swim setting or scenario. Look forward to sexy swim styles featuring fabrics infused with lurex and all the glitz you can handle, as well as funky prints accented with metallic detailing. But for all the demure divas, you'll love classic solid swimsuits like the little black bikini (LBB) featuring metallic stitching and lining. Regardless of the style you choose, the metallic trend will have you glistening in the sun.
Flounce & Flutter
Like the aforementioned bustier trend, flounce and flutter is back and better than ever for the 2014 resort season. Instead of just a few options to choose from, seemingly every designer has at least one fluttery flounce style in their new collection. Think bandeau monokinis with flounce-trimmed necklines, fluttery trapeze tops that can double as crop tops and halter tops with fluttery draped overlays.

Which 2014 resort trend has your heart all a flutter?

Fashion: American Music Awards Best Dressed 2013

It was the AMAs last night and although I stayed up and spied a few outfits I went to bed earlier then usual and decided to wake up earlier and do this piece.
The fashion this year was pretty wonderful I think, the majority of people pulled out all the stops and looked fabulous!
Top 12 best dressed below:

*I'm sure some people won't be a fan of Emma Roberts' silver Lanvin dress but I think she looks wonderful and I adore the deep pink Casadei heels and matching clutch
*Ke$ha looked radiant in a black Michael Costello gown, I love that she wears a black gown but adds some edge with two-tone pastel hair, one of her best yet.
*Katy Perry wore a floral Oscar De La Renta dress and was back to her old school black waves and porcelain skin, very Katy circa 2009
*I nearly didn't put her on this list but her hair looks simply incredible! Naya Rivera was sultry in a black Michael Kors dress with some seriously amazing volume with the big curls.

*Taylor Swift wore another sparkling Julien Macdonald creation, this gold mini is a little more revealing then her usual choices but she looks amazing so why not? Soft waves and metallic sandals finished the look of
*Maia Mitchell wore a divine black velvet mini dress by Armani, it had some gorgeous back detail too. She paired with black heels, deep lip and Hollywood side-swept hair that I also love.
*Ciara looked as hot as always with her new blonde bob and in a rather revealing J Mendel dress
*Jennifer Hudson stood out in a bright orange in Christian Dior dress, I love the styling of this too, her high-lighted hair matched the gold heels and clutch wonderfully. I love brights mixed with metallic accessories.

*Nicole Richie was radiant in a white Emilio Pucci dress with cut out details and gold jewelry, love the hair and make up in particular with this number.
*Christina Aguliera also wowed in white, once again with cut-out details but she went for a far more vintage look in this Maria Lucia Hohan dress paired with Marilyn curls and red lips.
*Anybody know who these lads were wearing?! They all looked dashing but for me Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne have truly being upping their styling stakes recently. I love how Louis always rocks rolled up trousers and I adore the grey polo whereas Liam looks so chic in that grey jacket.
*Lady GaGa was rather reminiscent of the designer she was wearing. Long blonde hair, a golden tan and a gorgeous lilac Versace dress is a rather elegant look from the songstress and she looked beautiful.

For me the best dressed of the night goes to Ke$ha. Urgh I just adore that hair.

Beauty: Katy Perry for Eylure Party Lashes

How long have these been out and why I haven't I seen them sooner?!
I can confidently say that my 'go-to' lashes for a night out are 'Cool Kitty' from the first Katy Perry Lashes collection so whenever she designs another set I'm always really excited. I am yet to try out the coloured ones because I can never find them anyway but I really want to give the 'Ka-Pow' purple ones a whirl as I tend to wear purple/pink/silver eye make-up when I go out.
Anyway, this latest collection from the quirky queen of pop is full of glamour, glitter and is the perfect pick for the party season.

You have four stunning choices to pick from and for just £7.99 they are sure to be worth every penny.
The 'Backstage' lashes are thick and black dotted with silver studs at the baseline to bring a rocky edge to any beauty look.
The'Starstruck' set are glittering with diamond style embellishments on the outer corner suited to the glamour puss in all of us.
The 'Showtime' blues are apparently Katy's favourite and with the bold cobalt colour and pretty perfect black lashes I can see why.
Finally, 'Sunset Stripped' are possibly my favourite of the bunch with a sparkling gold strip which can act as eyeliner and full, textured lashes.

I cannot wait to try these out and I will most certainly do a review on the pair I do test as they all have some sort of detailing that could cause problems it'll be interesting to see if this does effect the lashes.

Are you excited about these too?!

Fashion: The Hunger Games Catching Fire Premieres

I love when there is a blockbuster of a movie out because there are so many premieres for them to attend and I can do a mini post (or master depending on how you look at it) on the stylish celebrities!
So from the ever chic Elizabeth Banks to the daring Jena Malone here are my favourite fashion outfits from The Hunger Games: Catching Fire promo tour.

*I wasn't sure whether or not to add this as the shoes spoil the ensemble for me but from the ankles up this prom princess dress by Christian Siriano suits Isabelle Fuhrman in wonderfully, the gold and black is a delightful Gothic combination.
*I adore the colour of the Versace suit Alan Ritchson wore to the LA premiere, the glorious teal number suited his blue eyes and tan brilliantly and it's a nice change from black and grey
*Kiernan Shipka can do no wrong, the teenager wore a delightful Miu Miu dress also to the LA premiere, she is truly turning into such a fashionista and I feel she never dress too old for her age.
*Jena Malone wore a gold glittering Nicholas Oakwell Couture gown with some serious mesh inserts, I love the slicked back hair and thick eyebrows, she always brings some edge to her outfits.

*LA premiere seems to be where the style stakes were truly raised. Lyndsy Fonseca wore an adorable pink Zac Posen dress with nude heels and blue drop earrings, her cute plaited up-do is a must too
*Elizabeth Banks jumped on the Versace bandwagon in a bright orange strapless number. With the sparkling detailing and the metallic clutch she truly wowed me, it fits like a glove too.
*Jena Malone rocked a bold red Monique Lhuillier tasseled dress to the London, her slicked back hair and bold eyebrows were joined by a vibrant red lip to offer quite the statement *Jennifer Lawrence looked fabulous in Christian Dior at the Madrid premiere, I love her messy hair, the midnight blue against her skin tone and the spiked heels.

*This is possibly my favourite from Jena Malone, she wore a glitering, black Reem Acra dress to the Oslo premiere and paired it with tousled bob and dark nails with nude make up; stunning
*Elizabeth Banks was a role with the premieres and for Berlin she wore another strapless dress but this time by Elie Saab.
*I love a blue suit at the best of times but even more so when it as worn as well as it is on Josh Hutcherson. The gorgeous Calvin Klein two piece fitted like a glove and I love the matching shirt and tie with the brown shoes too
*The Holy Trinity of The Hunger Games all fared well at the Madrid premiere. Liam Hemsworth wore a Dolce and Gabbana suit to this event and it is my favourite of his overall. I really enjoy the complete darkness to the ensemble and the pattern on the shirt.

So, what did you think of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire events? Were the photocalls, conference and junkets as stylish as the premieres?

Fashion: What I'm Wearing

Do you love how at least one piece of clothing is from River Island...?
It's how I a stone...

Top is as below, from River Island so are the jeans, pumps are Primark, jacket New Look, necklace is Disney Couture and my rings are a mixture!

Beauty: Revlon Lash Potion Mascara

Revlon Lash Potion Mascara by Grow Luscious

With such a huge love for their foundation I decided to give a Revlon mascara a go, I was unfortunately disappointed.
I picked this particular product because I simply adore the packaging; a stunning mix of pink, green and purple with a shimmering pattern completely won me over, I'm also a fan of Emma Stone and she is the face for this particular product plus it's called 'potion' so magical!
When I opened up the bottle I was pleased with the wand, I am most certainly a fan of a thicker wand size, I have relatively long lashes but they need some volume and thickening.
Application was easy although I must say that there is so much make up on the brush! Perhaps that was why there was some clumping? But none more than usual with a standard mascara under £10.
The lash potion offered a fair amount of extension, volume and colour to my lashes but, unfortunately, within the hour it had flaked, smudged and given the area around my eyes a grey colour with small black particles underneath; not so hot.

From left to right; no make up or mascara, straight after mascara has been applied, five hours after mascara has been applied
  • Appealing packaging
  • Full wand
  • Easy application
  • Lengthens lashes
  • Flakes onto skin; leaves black marks under eyes
  • Some clumping
  • Lashes wilted a few hours after application
  • Some smudging around eye

Fashion: The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2013

The hottest, most extravagant and gloriously mouth-watering fashion show took place on Thursday and that was of course the Victoria Secrets show. With the stunning Taylor Swift singing her heart out as well as pop-punk band Fall Out Boy offering some catchy tunes it was a show full of sweet music, beautiful people and glamorous lingerie.
Taking place in New York, celebrities including Olivia Palermo attended the start-studded event to watch The Angels work their way down the catwalk and showcase some of the most exotic, hypnotic and fabulous pieces I think I have ever seen, there were various themes including Snow Angels, British Invasion, Parisian Nights, The Pink Network, Birds of Paradise and Shipwrecked- I adore them all but I think my favourite were Birds of Paradise, Snow Angels and
Angels for this year included Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Adriana Lima, Cara Delevingne and my favourite Candice Swanepoel, who was given the honor of rocking this years fantasy bra which is worth $10 million!
I have selected my favourite pieces from the show, one day I swear I will be attending this event I cannot express my envy for all those who saw these designs in all their glory!

Birds of Paradise

British Invasion

Parisian Nights

The Pink Network

Snow Angels
What's your favourite collection and what's your favourite ensemble?
I cannot wait to be able to actually afford this stunning underwear, one day I swear.....

Fashion: EMAs Best Dressed 2013

It was the EMAs last night so here we have just a mini fashion post showing off my favourites from the night :)

*Katy Perry wowed in two contrasting ensembles. This black punky style with the gold Chanel belt and tight ponytail had a 90s grunge style with a girly edge. The outfit she wore at the start of the night was a Zac Posen turquoise dress with to die for mesh Charlotte Olympia heels that I simply adore.

*I loved Rita Ora sexy siren styling, this simple black dress is classic Calvin Klein and I've always been a fan of a thigh-high split.I actually really like the light hair against her deep golden skin tone too

*Iggy Azalea caught everybody's attention in an extremely revealing Dilek Hanif dress and red peep toes. Again I love her dark eyes with her pale skin tone and light hair, it's nice to see a curvy role model showing off her wonderful physique too.

*Bridgit Mendler was another in a black full length dress but she paired it with deep lips, a gold necklace and a messy up do. The cut out detailing on this stops it from being boring and the hair keeps it cool

Fashion: Rihanna for River Island

Rihannas final River Island collection unveiled
After numerous seasons of collaborating with the high street fashion company Rihanna says farewell to River Island.
Available to pre-order now and ready to be dispatched on 7th November Rihanna’s A/W 2013 collection is a funky mix of 90s shapes, black essentials and high shine metallic party pieces.
From the outset Rihanna and River Island have been the perfect duo in regards to the world of high street fashion, Rihanna appeals to River Island’ target audience and together they have continually made a hugely successful fashion line that has caught the attention of everybody including model Cara Delevingne and pop star Rita Ora.
Now as Rihanna unleashes her last dose of fashion it is fair to say the Barbadian singer is going out in style and with one hell of a bang.
(Check out my favourites below:)

Just in time for Christmas Rihanna has most certainly kept the party season in mind when designing her latest compilation. There are a number of shimmering, glam pieces including metallic dresses, crop tops and bodycon with her trademark black heeled sandals and tuxedo style jacket dresses available to make your own.
Although there is a great deal of tight fitting pieces and opulent glitz Rihanna has also paid close attention to the chilly months that are sure to lay ahead for us Brits with casual statements and a great deal of tartan. Parka jackets, fur hats, turtle necks and a tartan mac are all stand out but comfortable and easy to wear articles that will keep us cosy and warm as we near the colder months.
Rihanna’s ultimate’s collection is most certainly that, it embodies the two sides we see to the star; laid-back, urban cool in the form of  slim jeans, tartan turtle necks and bomber jackets and the red-hot sex, appeal represented through metallic minis, sheer bralets and stilettos.
Prices range from £20 to £100 so if you fancy channelling your inner Rihanna head over to the River Island website to pre-order or check where your nearest stockist is.

Fashion: LACMA Art & Film Gala 2013

This is just a cheeky little mini fashion post as it was the LACMA Art and Film Gala, this year the stars came out to honor the creative minds of film genius Martin Scorsese and British artist David Hockney. The majority wore Gucci, of course, but some did stray from the designer.

*Zoe Saldana wore, what I thought, was a dragon inspired Gucci gown, I adore the bursts of green and the sheer inserts of this number. Her hair was left down and she wore coordinating jewelry.
*Olivia Wilde wore a plain black Gucci dress, I enjoy the hot pink lips and metallic clutch here, I think the pink matches her ombre hair beautifully.
*Evan Rachel Wood's studded Gucci dress showed of her slim post-baby body wonderfully without being to revealing.I love a bit of studded detailing to funk something up.

*Salma Hayek wowed in a nude Gucci halterneck with some serious embellishment, I am really loving her lighter hair too.
*Kate Hudson looked stunning as always in an attention-grabbing pink and silver Gucci dress, the slicked back hair was the perfect way to let the dress do all the talking
*I love this shimmering copper Gucci dress on Amy Adams, I think it matches her hair wonderfully without clashing, I just feel the heels are a little heavy; black is fine but the style is a little bulky.

*Kate Beckinsale looked like a beautiful mermaid in a sparkling blue Gucci dress and chocolate brown waves with streaks of gold.
*I was unsure at first but this ensemble has grown on me, Dakota Johnson wore a feathered dark and metallic Gucci Fall 2013 dress, with soft clipped back hair and smokey eyes.

Fashion: Little Mix for Wonderland Magazine

I love coming across interesting magazine pieces that stand out or spark my interest and this one certainly does.
As we all know pink is the colour of the season, check out my blog post here on that particular subject.
But anyway Wonderland magazine have given Brit girl band Little Mix a faboosh make over and I quite simply adore it.

As much as I enjoy the music of Little Mix their styling leaves something to be desired, I am always urging them to change it up a bit as it feels a little dated with no modern twist. Of course this isn't always, sometimes I adore their fashion.
Nonetheless when I saw this stunning spread in Wonderland magazine I simply had to comment! They are looking absolutely gorgeous.

I feel like they should take something away from this shoot, of course it is ridiculous to expect a four twenty year old girls to wear pastel pink, silk scarves and tweed everyday but the shaping of the outfits and the girls make up and hair is flawless.
To me the girls all bring something different to the band; Jade is very cute and girl next door pretty, Perrie is a little quirky with a rockstar edge, Jesy is sexy with a goth-twist and Leigh is pretty with an urban vibe to her styling, they could easily bring these characteristics into their styling and combine it with the chicness from this Wonderland piece.

In someways I feel that those elements are there during this shoot. Perrie rocks the nose ring, fur and contrasting pink shift with black pumps, Jade looks breathtaking and a little Blair Waldorf in the Dior shirt with the preppy hair clips, Jesy oozes sex appeal in the fitted pencil skirt and deep red lips and finally Leigh works the slicked back hair and camo Bardot top, I also feel the pink suit is a little reminiscent of Hilary from Fresh Prince of Bel Air; ever the style icon.

So, what do you think? Do you love the girls vamped up styling as much as I do?

Fashion: October 2013 Best Dressed

I feel like it has been forever since I posted the best dressed of the month! Considering it has been a rather drab month the celebs kept their style bright, fresh and full of life with bursts of colour everywhere!

*Solange Knowles showed off her fabulous pins in a pair of black shorts and a bright Clover Canyon shirt at the Ebays future shopping event; love her hair here too, she totally rocks it
*Camilla Belle was showstopping in a lime green Ralph Lauren dress with a blue clutch, I wish she'd opted for some lighter shoes as the platforms are a little heavy for me vogue fashion fund event
*Lupita Nyong made another perfect red carpet choice in a gorgeous yellow J Mendel gown at 2013 Hollywood Film Awards paired with red lips and her perfectly shaven hair

*Sandra bullock back on the list as she also attended the Hollywood Film Awards, she wore a super hot black dsqaured2 bodycon number which I feel has the perfect mix of coverage and exposure. Soft waves, sandals and red lips completed her look.
*Kimberly Wyatt wore a rose gold skater dress by Felder Felder to the MOBO Awards, paired with metallic sandals and a contrasting clutch
*Nicole Richie looked bronzed and beautiful as she wore a sparkling earthy Dolce and Gabbana gown with a sleek hair and coppery eyes to the Performing Arts Inaugural Gala

*Blake Lively wore a pair of cool polka dot trousers and simple white top both by Emanuel Ungaro as she went out for dinner in Paris, love this chic but quirky ensemble.
*As always Diane Kruger wore Chanel Couture with flair, I adore the embellished number and the simple sandals match perfectly.
* To me Jessica Alba is one of the most stylish celebrities out there and she proved this in a white Wes Gordon mini at the Who What Wear Womens Most Fashionable event, dark lips, sunshine waves and metallic tipped heels completed the look.
*Taylor Swift was dreamy in a shimmering Houghton design at the Songwriter of the Year awards, love the hair and it's nice to see her without the red lips; a lot softer and a little angelic
*Alexa Chung attended her book-launch in an Autumnal floral Valentino number paired with black tights and satin heels, very standard Alexa Chung styling but I actuallt really enjoy this look
*Naomi Watts looked radiant at the New York screening of Diana in a navy blue Michael Kors dress with hot red lips and forties style waves.

My best dressed out of these twelve ladies goes to Diane Kruger just because, you know, it's Diane Kruger and she looks sensational.

Music: Bangerz by Miley Cyrus Review

Miley Cyrus
I'm indifferent when it comes to Miley Cyrus, I can take or leave all the drama that surrounds the Nashville native but I did enjoy her two singles so thought I would give her latest album a listen.
When the name for the album was released the majority of people cringed (I was in that high percentage) but Miley promised that once we gave the CD a listen we would understand the name, I can see her point; kind of. This is my general consensus in regards to the entire music from Bangerz.
With collabs and input from Pharrell, Ludacris, Britney Spears and Nelly you are offered a mix of dance anthems, RnB tunes and some seriously awesome backing beats and high class vocals from the leading lady.
I just always have the nagging feeling that she is trying just a little too hard, some of the lyrics just don't work with her cool Tennessee accent "Drivin so fast about to piss on myself/The police wanna get him and put him in jail/I'm a do whatever to get him his bail." However, in the same song, 4x4, we receive a country-based rap from Nelly (I know right) and I fall in love with her all over again.
I  just adore that the country vibe is still present, Miley has such a Southern twang to her voice and it seeps through in every song, she never tries to hide her heritage and even states "I'm a southern belle crazier than hell/ Getting wild up in here/ Getting live up in here." Miley proves that country can work on a dance, pop and even RnB track and pretty well too.
I, of course have my favourites, the catchy, fast-pasted Do My Thang as well as Hands in the Air with its heavy bass and awesome Ludacris rap caught my attention as did the epic Lady GaGa like FU that showed off Miley's vocal talent and offered a slightly creepy, Halloween-like tune.
As well as the upbeat pop rockers there are a few that follow in the footsteps of Wrecking Ball and show a much more subdued and emotional side to the singer. Drive in particular almost has a chill-out feel and Miley's voice sounds brilliant and is filled with emotion as she sings "Drive my heart into the night/You can drop your keys off in the morning/Cause I don't want to leave home, without your love." It makes you wonder, how many of these are about her past, greatly publicized, relationship?
It is fair to say I quite simply love over half the tracks on the album and to be honest there aren't any that I hate.

Miley has created a perfect party album with a smart mix of heart-felt chill out tracks and toe-tapping pop songs.

Life: Halloween Costume Three

Zombie/Possessed/Bloody Cheerleader
With this one there are a few routes you could go down, cheerleader fighting against zombies, cheerleaders already as zombies or cheerleaders who are in the process of becoming zombies.

You can create your own outfit but there are so many awesome cheerleading costumes out there, both media inspired and original for a decent prices (generally less than £25) that you might as well purchase one of those. Check out ebay and amazon for cheaper versions available from fancy dress sites.
If you want you could just go for a simple ra ra or skirt skirt with a top in the similar shade or a contrasting colour and add some writing or imagery to the top. Throw on a hoodie to keep yourself warm :)

There are some awesome tutorials on Youtube that sure you how to create the undead/zombie/bloodied victim look. Here are a few of my favourites 1,2 and 3 but I would pick some fake blood, dark red lipstick and dark eye-shadows (browns, purples, reds) to create an undead look, there are a few palettes out there which tick all the boxes.
With nails keeping them unpolished and dirtying them up with some paint, make up etc works or even chipping already painted nails keeps the messy look alive.
Whatever you do with your hair, whether you wear it down or up in a ponytail matte it up with blood and make it scruffy, you've just been attacked remember?

Shoes, Jewelry & Finishing Touches
Trainers are the best option and, yay, the comfiest! That's all you need for this one, the focus remains on the make up and bloody aspect of the costume. If you cant be doing with using make up to create cuts and bites you can pick some up online for a cheap price.

Fashion: Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy

Kardashian Kollection for Lipsy

The girls are back :D

In just three days the Kardashian Kollection will be available to buy from Lipsy but until then you can check out the pieces and start planning on what you're going to buy!
It is exactly what you would expect from the three glamorous sisters; a great deal of black, splashes of colour, a dash of sparkle and some leather staples.
Lipsy have always been a go-to for the party girl and the perfect place to pick up an outfit for a night out or a special dress for a Christmas party so of course the Kardashian ladies are the ideal choice. They have most certainly hit the nail on the head, check out my fav garments below:

I love the sequin jacket as it will glam up any ensemble; pair with a camisole, jeans and heels or throw over a simple black mini dress.
This leather mini is great as it can be worn for day or night and you could even wear it work with a shirt and pumps or with flats and a tee for laid-back cool.
The lace jump-suit speaks for itself, it is a show-stopper for sure and when Kourtney was photographed in it recently she turned everybody's heads.
Nothing says Kardashian quite like an eye-catching body-con and this printed blue number is to-die for, I love the quirky graphics and the mix of bright blue shades.
This feather jacket is amazing! I love the colour with the dashes of deep green, I am a massive fan of fur coats but I definitely think that feather coats are the way to go.
Finally Khloe rocks this faux-leather black dress so well and I cannot express how much I adore it, its such a flattering shape and I can tell that PU dresses are here to stay.

This collection if all over the internet but you can check it out here. As with all Lipsy pieces prices vary from £50-£150, high end high street.
So ,what do you adore from this collection?
