Fashion: OSCARs 2017 Best Dressed

Potentially the best awards ceremony to get you back into the world of fashion blogging...
  • I always knew Hailee Steinfeld would be a fashion icon, the brunette actress wore a super pretty Ralph & Russo gown. I am so glad she put her hair up and went for a smokey yet soft make up look, anything more would be too fussy.
  • Chrissy Teigen looked smoking in a silver and white Zuhair Murad creation, dare I say the dress looked even better on her curves than on the runaway.
  • Tariji Henson just oozes sex appeal, she looked mesmerizing in a deep blue velvet bardot dress by Alberta Ferreti. I adore this look from the wavy bob and feline eye flicks to the Jimmy Choo clutch and barely there heels.
  • Emma Roberts was back to her auburn ways as she worked the red carpet in a pretty monochrome Armani Privé design. I love classic Hollywood waves and a red lip with an elegant dress.

  • Brie Larson wore a simple but eternally stylish balck strapless Oscar de la Renta dress, I thought this was a bit boring at first but I like how she added a bright orange lip and the dress has some shape to it.
  • Ryan Gosling wore a Gucci suit (duh) with a ruffled shirt, bow tie and Christian Louboutin shoes. I like that he changed the classic suit up a bit with the old school frills.
  • The formidable Viola Davis always looks fabulous and the awards this year was no different. A red hot Armani Privé was her pick and I love that she always goes for bold, royal colours and a flattering shape too. Top marks.
  • Mahersala Ali looked dashing in an all black Ermenegildo Zegna Couture ensemble. I love an all black look but the pop of print is hot too.

  • Everybody said Emma Stone looked like the Academy Award in her golden Givenchy gown and it's honestly the first thought I had. Nevertheless she looks pretty and still has the vintage Emma Stone look everybody loves.
  • We all know how much I love a blue suit and this Salvatore Ferragamo tailoring Chris Evans wore is my favourite in some time. As if his baby blues don't pop enough this is the perfect choice for him, love the contrasting lapels too.
  • I am in love with this look from Kirsten Dunst. Yes it screams simple Christian Dior but the shape is so flattering and that Niwaka necklace adds a little quirk
  • Busy Philips was a pleasant suprise for me. The dark emerald shade is to die for and the dress fits her gloriously. I haven't heard much about the designer Emma Kennedy but I'll keep my ear to the ground from now on.

Fashion: Emmys Awards 2016 Best Dressed

I feel like it's been centuries since I created a celebrity best dressed post but the Emmys played host to a whole blunch of best dressed guys and gals.

  • Emilia Clarke wore a pale gold Atelier Versace gown with a slight pink tinge, I thought it was Vivienne Westwood at a glance because of the shape but the colour is too muted and I guess Versace is known for the sculptured shape. She kept accessories to a minimum and let all the attention be on the dress.
  • Viola Davis wore a magenta pink Marchesa dress with a beautiful emellished neck detail, it's a great colour and super flattering, not sure abou the silver clutch though.
  • Matching the glorious red carpet, Priyanka Copra wore a Jason Wu gown that was the perfect combination of floaty and fitted. Qith sleek hair and scarlet lip to match this was the look everybody raved about,
  • I absolutely adore this Zuhair Murad princess gown Kristen Bell wore, she does often go for a similar style with the deep plunge but this design is so gorgeous I don't even care.
  • Laverne Cox was a shimmering delight in head to toe gold, including those long locks, she wore a heavily beaded Naeem Khan dress paired with a hexangal gold box clutch and a dewy tan.
  • Olivia Culpo opted for a strapless Zac Posen design, I love that it's super glam with a quirky edge. The perfect accessories make this look; white nails, earrings and a clutch with silver barely there heels and metallic make up
  • Rami Malek was dapper in a Christian Dior monochrome outfit and Christian Louboutin shoes, Malek also added a bow tie which I'm glad of a tie would have been too generic for him
  • Julia Louis-Dreyfuss was stunning in a black, sheer Carolina Herrera dress. I love everything abut this ensemble from the overlay, to the soft waves and delicate jewelery.

  • This look from Aimee Teegarden is mezmirising, the white hot Kaufman Franco dress fits her like a glove and her face is flawless. Plus those earrings are the best bling addition.
  • Another newcomer to the Emmys Stephanie Corneliussen wore a bodycon black Mike Costello gown that showed of her svelte figure, I love the cut out detailing and smart of her to slicked back that hair out of her face, anything else would be too busy.
  • Portia Doubleday wore a slinky red Armani gown, the revealing middle worked well and wasn't too much due to every other part of her figure being covered. Golden blonde Hollywood waves kept the sex symbol look in tact.
  • America Ferrera wore a navy glittery Jenny Packham dress, sparkles can sometimes be tricky to pull off but America looked radiant.

Fashion: Oscars 2016 Best Dressed

I have been counting down the days for the OSCARS! Here is my best dressed list:

  • Priyanka Chopra wore one of my favourite designers; she looked gorgeous in a white Zuhair Murad creation that I could not stop staring at. The sweetheart, strapless dress hugged in all the right places and the floral motif overlay was stunning.
  • Naomi Watts wore a dress that her husband actually picked as she couldn't decide, kinda cute? The deep purple and indigo ombré Armani Privé glittering gown made me think of mermaids, so of course I adored it. I'm pleasantly surprised at how well the hot red lips works as well.
  • Oscar winner (!!) Alicia Vikander was the first person I added to this list, she wore a strapless lemon and silver Louis Vuitton design that was rather reminiscent of my favourite Disney princess especially with some of her dark golden hair rolled into a bun. Guess who?
  • Jennifer Garner chanelled old school Hollywood in this black Versace gown, a timeless classic this dark dress made me feel as if I was watching the Academy Awards fifty years ago-in the best way possible.
  • Rooney Mara kept it cool in a pale Givenchy dress, she injected her punk edge by having her dark hair pinned into three neat knots and of course added a blood red lip. The detailing of the Givenchy gown is outstanding; there is so much going on but the pale colour paired with Rooney's laid back cool style makes it work.
  • Sophie Turner wore a dove grey Galvan gown that is in fact a sustainable fashion brand who Sophie has recently partnered up with, howing that beautiful clothing can be made from enviromentally friendly fabrics. Love that. Her trademark auburn locks and stunning shimmering make up completed the look.
  • Margot Robbie is back to blonde (YAY) and she partnered her beachy golden waves with a beautiful gold gown by Tom Ford that falls across her sleek physique like liquid metal, she also had black clutch with some extra long tassel detailing and simple bands on her fingers.
  • Leading Actress nominee Saoirse Ronan stunned in a rich green sequin gown with a deep v and pretty back detailing. It was a Calvin Klein custom design which explains why it was so simple yet so stylish, paired with emerald drop earrings and a soft feminine waves.

  • I was in awe of Cate Blanchett when I saw her, this seafoam Armani Privé gown is absolutely mezmerising. From the shape of the gown and the way it fits to the swarvoski diamond details and embellished flowers. I'm in love.
  • Charlize Theron looked beautiful in a bright red Christian Dior creation that had the lowest of plunging necklines, she added a long silver sparkling pendant for some glitz and kept her cropped blonde hair was slick and neat.
  • Lady GaGa always work the Hollywood screen siren look so fabulously, she wore a white Brandon Maxwell outfit paired with muted jewels and those 50s curls; dramatic but not over the top.
  • Rachel McAdams was another blonde in a deep bottle green, I was 100% sure when I first saw photos but after watching the actual show I adore this August Getty dress and Rachel added just a few bits of metallic to up the glamour stakes.

My best dressed of the night goes to Cate Blanchett with Saoirse Ronan coming in a close second.

Fashion: Grammys 2016 Best Dressed

So it was the Grammys and a fair celebs made their way to the ultimate music ceremony, here is my best dressed, this is just a mini post of four female starlets as nobody else really blew me away:

  • Kacey Musgrave a wore a peacock inspired Armani Privé gown, I love the rich colours of this dress and the little bit of sparkle it has. She kept everything simple although I do feel like her hair could have been down or maybe a simple necklace could have worked to? Either way I love the colours and that purple lip
  • Selena Gomez wore a sultry sequin Calvin Klein number in a stunning shade of midgnight blue. I much prefer this number to the red outfit she wore later on in the night. This colour is stunning on Selena, blue is always a winner for dark hair and dark eyes.
  • Both Davie Bowie and Lady GaGga are style icons in their own magical way and the songstress confirmed that tonight when she chanelled her inner Starman on not one but THREE ocassions throughout the evening. This was my favourite of the three, the bright orange locks and cobalt blue Marc Jacobs design adorned with some seriously stunning embellishment would have made the Brit musician proud.
  • Anna Kendrick kept it simple and stylish in a black Emanuel Ungaro dress with a sparkling mesh detail that she paired with the ultimate smokey cat eye and a funky Rauwolf clutch for an added quirk.

Fashion: 2016 Golden Globes Best Dressed

I couldn't think of a better way to get back into the swing of blogging then tackling the best dressed at 2016 Golden Globes.

  • Brie Larson was the first celebrity I saw walk the red carpet and she was an immediate hit. I love that she wore a sparkling gold gown in running with the event and went all out with smokey metallic make up, sleek golden hair and simple jewllery. I'm not suprised to learn the dress is Calvin Klein, a faavourtie of mine for red carpet events
  • Amy Adams was a burst of orange delight in a bright Atelier Versace with divine embellishment, I love that her rich auburn hair was wavy and down, who says red heads can't wear orange? She added Neil Lane jewels for extra glamour.
  • I love this glistening gown Carly Chalkin wore, the Juan Carlos Obando design is a mix of mermiad and gothic glamour, black sequins intertwined with turquoise and blue is such a mesmerixing look
  • Lady GaGa channled old school Holywood in this black, velvet Atelier Versace number. Everything about this looks is glorious, from the sweetheart and bardot necline to the Marilyn blow-out and silve arm candy.
  • I adore this pink dress Katy Perry rocked on Sunday night. It fits the popstar like a glove and is keeping with Katy's fun and flirty side.Word is going around that Katy added a Bump-It to her raven locks for that Bardot-esque hairstyle, whatever she used it's working. A heavy dose of jewels and pink make up making this the perfect mix of sweet and sexy.
  •  Joanne Frogatt wore a delightful cornflower blue Reem Acra dress to the awards event, Reema Acra wlays create dreamy dresses that glide perfectly and this was no different. A silver Judith Leiber clutch and slciked back hair kept this look simple yet stylish
  • Kate Bosworth was a glorious, glitzy image of pink and silver sequins when she turned up at the event in this strapless Dolce and Gabbana dress. With such an attention-grabbing gown Kate was right to keep the styling to a minimum.
  • Malin Akerman was all smiles as she walked the red carpet in this stunning silver Reem Acra piece, I'm not usually a fan of strapless or peplum but Malin was definitely in my top 5 ensembles of the evening.
  • Taraji P Henson worked this angelic white Stella McCartney creation with confidence and ease. The Empire actress was radiant in the sleek design and somehow made a simple white dress the sassiest of them all
  • The queen of pretty much everything, J.Lo, wore a gorgeous bright yellow Giambattista Valli gown to the red carpet. With such a show-stopping, wonderfully over the top dress most people would tone down everything else but not Jenny from the block. The latino lady addeed a dark red lip, silver Jimmy Choos and coated herself in Harry Winston jewels and as with everything she does it worked a treat.
  • I love that Jamie Alexander took a colour and ran with it. The jade gown by Genny makes her green eyes pop beautifully as it is but when you add the emerald earrings, matching ring and a flick of racing green liner to the look Jamie is an image of pure beauty.
  • One of the most consistently stylish ladies to walk the red carpet, Jenna Dewan-Tatum was a delight as she atteded the Globes. She wore a deep blue Zuhair Murad dress that was embellished with an array of sparkling silver and metallic blue sequins.

Fashion: Balmain x H&M

Images from the Balmain x H&M leaked online
Photos from potentially one of the most anticipated fashion partnerships in recent years has finally surfaced on the web, the Balmain and H&M collaboration is here, time to start that early Christmas list.
Models of the moment Kendall Jenner, Jourdan Dunn and Gigi Hadid were photographed months ago rocking the designs on the red carpet as they attended the Billboard Music Awards and later promotional images surfaced of them modelling the stand out pieces from the fashion line.
The French haute couture fashion house is famous for its highly embellished, intricately beaded and beautifully structured designs and it seems that the collection for H&M shall follow that route; Balmain is here to help you inject some high end celebrity style into your wardrobe.
Rich colours are a focus of the collection with bold emerald, royal purple and deep red all making their way onto dresses, jackets and jewellery alike. Monochrome breaks up the opulent rainbow palette with the black still remaining luxurious due to the iconic glamour of Oliver Rousteing and his Balmain ways.

The eighties appears to be an inspiration for this lavish range with shoulder pads, structured blazers and oversized gold details such as belts, buttons and bangles all grasping for attention. The styling of the look book even screams Dallas with chandelier earrings, side swept hair and cinched in waists used to beautify the clothes. A refreshing change from the recent wave of seventies style and a much more enchanting look, Rousteing has gone full on glamour to create a high volume fashion collection that is for red carpet opulence.
The collection is brimming with dazzling party ready dresses and statement designs and also features jewellery and even a fragrance; with a release of 5th November it’s the perfect time to pick a Christmas present or an outfit for the party season. No news on prices as of yet but they are set to reach the £400 mark but you can never put a price on style.

Fashion: MET Gala 2015 Best Dressed

It's been nearly a month since my last post! But I am BACK and with vengeance. I've been super busy recently so haven't had a chance to catch up with blogging but I'm back on it now, with a few Best Dressed months missed I thought I would start last nights event of the MET Gala.
The MET is one of my favourite events, whatever the theme because I love to see how people make it work, with that in mind for what was going on last night?! So many people ignored the theme, it was China: Through The Looking Glass, there was so much to play with. Therefore even if I thought some people looked stunning if I don't feel like it fits the theme they ain't getting a look in! (Jessica Chastain, Reese Witherspoon I'm looking at you...)
  • Hailey Baldwin kept it short but stylish and stuck to the theme in this powder blue custom Topshop mini that has a pretty inspired print, she paired the dress with silver YSL platform sandals. I love the dark hair on Hailey too.
  • Alexa Chung once again was inspired by the China theme, but she took a completely different route in this strapless, pink Erdem number. I love that she went for a high bun too but in true Alexa style kept i messy and laid back
  • Kim Kardashian took into account the second half of the theme, 'Through The Looking Glass' for this sheer Roberto Cavalli gown
  • Kate Mara shows that you can keep it chic and modern but still adhere to the theme in this white Custom Diane Von Fursterneurg dress with it's black Asian floral pattern paired with simple accessories
  • Georgia May Jagger decided to head down the classic route for the MET Gala as she rocked a vintage inspired a exquisitely embroidered purple Gucci gown with turquoise trimming and a fascinating head piece. I love the brilliant colours from this ensemble, I'm glad she didn't hold back.
  • Rita Ora dazzled in a red Tom Ford creation. Although on fist sight this seems like a a simple red gown; the high collar, ribbon tie, tasseled clutch and sleek hair all add to the aesthetic of the look and although not typically theme inspired as Ms Jagger's you can still feel an element of China creeping through
  • Not unlike Rita Ora Lily Aldridge used the styling and add-ons to costumize her vision. The short but smart collar, drop earrings and crystallized fish clutch as well as the dark lips and slick bun turn this powder blue Carolina Herrera dress from an Oscar gown to a MET Gala competitor.
  • Zendaya Coleman was a show-stopper in this fabulous Fausto Puglisi design, Coleman not only kept to the theme but she had fun with it.
  • Zoe Kravitz channeled her inner Chinese Warrior for the MET Gala, it was all very Mulan in this chain-mail-like Alexander Wang. I love Zoe's style and the dotting of tattoos partnered with all the glittering jewelry added some glamour.
  • Never one to follow the pack, model Cara Delevigne kept it simple in a black, cut out Stella McCartney but mixed it up and brought the theme to life with temporary Chinese inspired tattoos of floral artwork and stunning, colourful birds. Nice touch.
  • You can always rely on Rihanna to bring some drama, she was the name on everybody's lips as she made a grand entrance in this canary yellow gown by Guo Pei, is gown even the right word to use? The magnificent piece of art ticked all of the right boxes of this event; inspired, creative and magnificent.
  • J.LO showcased her magnificent curves in this fiery red Atelier Versace number, with some serious sheer and sexy sparkles, this is more than MET Gala worthy, especially for this theme it's rather like a dragons fire.
  • As soon as I saw Emma in this emerald green Ralph Lauren gown I fell in love. Everything about this look works so brilliantly; The silky, kimono-inspired fabric, the black Edie Parker box clutch emblazoned with a dragon and although you may not be able to see in this photo that sleek bun is pinned up with Chinese hair sticks. Bravo Emma.
  • Kate Hudson was another who stuck to the theme but with a modern, glamorous touch. The golden gown designed by Michael Kors in a similar shape to that of the classic Mandarin gown and the beaded head piece has rather majestic feel to it, and of course she went with a bun.
  • Along with Kate and Emma Lizzy Caplan kept to the theme in this soft champagne Donna Karen Atelier dress with its drapery, beading and stunning embroidery Lizzy completely blew me away. To top it off she added a red lip, a sleek dark bun and drop, tassel earrings. Take note people, this is how you do the Costume Gala with style and ease.
  • Anne Hathaway is always a surprise at these events, she donned a gold hooded Ralph Lauren gown (wasn't he having a good night?) that was simple but a show-stopper nonetheless. Once again not taking an obvious route of China: Through The Looking Glass but ticking enough boxes.
Favourite goes to Emma Roberts, I nearly picked Lizzy Caplan, she is a rather strong second place but I adore everything about Emma's outfit.

Fashion: Laduree and Emilio Pucci

Emilio Pucci and Ladurée create the most stylish confectionary
French patisserie Ladurée has partnered up with Italian fashion mogul Emilio Pucci to create a box of the designer bakery’s iconic macarons all in the name of food and fashion.

Both artists in their own right the Ladurée brand is recognised for its divine flavours, elegant imagery, nostalgic atmosphere and of course the delightful macaron. Started up in the 1800s by miller Louis Ernest Ladurée, the patisserie became a chain when taken over by The Groupe Holder in 1993 and has since found success across the world with produce being sold in London, Miami and Sydney.
Ladurée and Pucci first revealed their charming box of goods at Milan Fashion Week back in February; the fashion power house of Emilio Pucci was more than happy to have their home country as place for the unveiling; now as we roll into Spring the limited edition cases of confection could be yours.
Available in two colours and two different styles the designs are unmistakably Pucci, the iconic Pucci print takes centre stage with the enchanting geometric motif and vibrant shades a visual delight.

There is a selection to choose from in two colour options; a blend of hot pink, coral and orange or cool blue, white and turquoise both of which are filled with eight scrumptious macarons. Once you have picked your colour choice you can select either the Capri box, Capri box and shopping bag or even the luxury box covered in Pucci silk, all of which you can order online.
Yann Menguy, the pastry chef for the Parisian tea room has fashioned macarons with flavours of lemon and rose creating not only a delicious new taste but also an aesthetically pleasing dessert that sandwiches together a vibrant yellow and perfect pink with a fine layer of ganache.
A captivating combination of high end fashion and lavish ingredients create an opulent gift for somebody else, treat for yourself or dinner party sweet.

Fashion: A List Stars Love The Ear Cuff

A List Stars Love The Ear Cuff
The latest fashion trend to take over the world of celebrities is the ear cuff, from Victoria’s Secret angel Miranda Kerr to British actress Emma Watson; female stars everywhere are adding some punk to their outfits with the embellished ear piece.

This piece of jewellery comes in many different styles, colours, shapes and sizes and has been used by our favourite celebrities to add some quirk to their fashion. Unlike many celebrity trends that are hard to obtain or perhaps too expensive, the ear cuff is an affordable and stylish accessory. Whether you want to add some edge to a simple outfit, or let your inner rock goddess shine through, an ear cuff is the perfect choice.
  1. River Island, £15, this funky ear cuff from River Island is the boldest of the five and not for the faint of heart. Although it’s eye-catching and clearly punk-inspired the iridescent colour with pink undertones offers a girly edge
  2.  Forever 21, £3, these delicate ear pieces are ideal for a chicer look that would be perfect for the work to bar transition. Small but still stylish and showing that the ear-cuff trend isn’t all about spikes and heavy duty ear pieces.
  3.  Red Herring, £8, this duo of turquoise and silver is a pretty two piece set that you can switch up depending on your mood; the turquoise adds some colour and coolness whereas the silver keeps it elegant and glam.
  4.  Topshop, £8.50, channel your inner Cara Delevingne with this monochrome cuff, a great choice if you want to punk things up but not distract from your stylish outfit.
  5.  Miss Selfridge, £6.50, the gold and diamante chain piece is rather similar to that which Lily Collins recently wore, unlike the others where the embellished cuff is the statement this is all about the draped chain.

Fashion: Oscars 2015 Best Dressed

Better late than never, it was the biggest red carpet event of the year yesterday and Hollywoods finest were out in full force. Although many people looked fabulous I was let down by a fair few and I didn't have to narrow by top 12 down, in fact it was a struggle to pick 12!
This is best dressed from the actual event, no after parties, screening parties etc.

  • Sienna Miller wore a pretty Oscar de la Renta dress with Prada shoes, there is so much detailing on this number and I think it works perfectly on her petite frame. That phenomenal smokey cat eye is fabulous too, I love this from top to bottom.
  • Rosamund Pike has never looked so good! She wears Givenchy well, this stunning red gown is my favourite red carpet ensemble from her, I love the matching strappy heels too.
  • Anna Kendrick  wore a simple yet elegant coral Thakoon dress with an sparkling neckline, this is a very pretty look from the actress and I must say I kinda love it.
  • Jessica Chastain continued to reign supreme in a navy blue Givenchy figure-hugging dress with a glorious thigh-high split and embellished bodice. Those red locks looked as sleek and as glossy as usual too
  • Jennifer Hudson looked mesmerizing in this strapless lemon Romona Keveza, I'm not usually a fan of strapless but Jennifer looked radiant. The citrus shade was stunning against her skintone and I love a white nail.
  • I was a little on the fence with Emma Stone at first but I most certainly have a soft spot for Elie Saab and Christian Louboutin and this pale lime is a tricky colour to pull off but I think she fairs well.
  • Jenna Dewan-Tatum wore a beautiful white Zuhair Murad Couture dress and paired with red lips and slicked ponytail. Jenna has truly upped her style stakes recently and I'm started to be truly excited as to what she'l be wearing
  • Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne was looking dreamy and dapper in a deep blue Alexander McQueen suit, I love the black collar and that he added dashes of black with the shoes and bow tie.
  • Rita Ora wowed in a deep blue Marchesa number with some stunning gold detailing, I love a fishtail gown it's always a glamorous choice. She kept the styling to a minimum and let this magnificent dress do all the talking.
  • Chrissy Teigen worked the red carpet in an ice blue Zuhair Murad creation, the dress is simply beautiful with a crystallized top and ombre crsytals on the skirt it had a slight ice queen feel to it. Chrissy amped up the hotness with soft waves a a red lip
  • Another in Zuhair Murad! Anna Faris looked like a fairtyale princess in this delightful shimmering, silver masterpiece, it truly is a royal gown and I think she looked wonderful.
  • Jennifer Lopez was a surprise for me. We're so used to the JLO in sexy skin-tight minis but she opted for a rather feminine, romantic look from Elie Saab and I thought she looked amazing.

Fashion: Cinderellas Glass Slipper Come To Life

Cinderellas Glass Slipper Gets A Modern Make-Over
One of the worlds most loved fairy tales and Disney animations comes to life this Spring and numerous footwear designers have created they're own version of the infamous glass slipper.
Cinderella hits the silver screen March 27th and in honor of one of the most fantastical stories ever told nine famous fashion designers from all across the globe have created some magically glorious glass slippers of their very own.

Rene Caovilla used the most colour in this perspex and turquoise design with a perfect point and some glittering embellishment. It sure is a quirky take on the Cinderella heel and I think they are my favourite.
Alexandre Birman's sleek white is the most simple of all the slippers and is sure to catch the eye of many brides-to-be as it is possibly more suited to the final wedding scene.
You could recognize a Charlotte Olympia design in a room full of shoes, the most modern out of the nine with a perspex platform, tiny peep toes and small glittering star details and Swarvoski crystals which are sure to catch the light

Salvatore Ferragamo keeps things chic whilst giving a Gothic tone to the Cinderella story with these black toed stilettos that also feature a perspex covering and an embellished heel.
Worn by the Cinderella herself, Lily James, these dramatic Jimmy Choos are one of my favourites. Arguably most like the original glass slipper, this sparkling heel with its over-sized crsytal feature is a stunning recreation.
Nicholas Kirkwood also favoured glitter and perspex but with that added Nicholas Kirkwood quirk; lace, crystals and a bow all add up to a ultra modern and cool yet wonderfully pretty slipper

Jerome Rousseau was the only designer to pick an ankle-strap sandal design and in a shade of midnight blue colour as well. Also one of the far more simpler creations a thick perspex strap with circular gold details placed delicately across the front are the only sign of glitz.
Paul Andrew designed my second favourite, I love the splash of iridescent blue jewels and the sprinkle of glitter on the back. This may not be as Cinderella and fairy tale-esque as Choos, Kirkwood or even Caovilla but it offers enough of a modern princess look for me.
Stuart Weitzman selected booties as his shoe style to work with, a white heel and an ombre glittering pattern from ankle to toe offers an almost rock chick vibe.
So who designs your ultimate Cinderella slipper?
All of the shoes will be showcased and avaliable to order from Harrods come March 3rd.

Fashion: Grammy Awards 2015 Best Dressed

For me The Grammys had a better choice of fashion then the BAFTAs, I was much more wowed by the stars. There were many best dressed contenders and a great deal of sparkle!

  • Gwen Stefani wore a glorious black Atelier Versace jumpsuit, it's the perfect style for the popstar as it has enough quirk without being over the top. Simply black heels and nude make up were the perfect choice as you don't want to distract that fantastic bodice
  • This is the second Lady GaGa Brandon Maxwell dress of the night, her performance choice but both appear on my best dressed list. I adore everything about this; the sparkling dresses, feather bottom and of course the silver platinum locks
  • Taylor Swift look absolutely sensational in this delightful ombre Elie Saab, the oceanic colour are delightful and I love that she went for a pop of colour with the purple heels; all very Mermaid.
  • Miley Cyrus kept it simple but sexy in a tight-fitting black dress by Alexandre Vautheir Couture with cut out detailing, this is a fresh look from Miley and I like it.
  • Kim Kardashian West wore a shimmering robe stye gown by Jean Paul Gaultier, her beauty was on point with that new messy bob and a golden glow.
  • Making another appearance on this list is Lady GaGa one again in a Brandon Maxwell sparkler, this silver dress with it's art deco pattern and those divine emerald jewels is a total show-stopper. GaGa was on form.
  • Nicki Minaj has certainly toned thing down since the start of her career but she still sizzles and this black Tom Ford dress was the perfect way to showcase her amazing physique.
  • Katy Perry's awesome purple hair is back! She worked the red carpet in this embellished Zuhair Murad creation paired with simple silver heels and that fabulous lilac bob. I love this from head to toe
  • I realize this isn't to everybody's taste and part of my wishes she'd drop the stole but either way I can't help but love Charli XCX Moschino ensemble. I love a girl in a suit and the sparkling heels with the pink bow tie win me over
  • Paris Hilton was a life size Barbie in this glamorous silver Yousef Al-Jasmi  dress. You can always rely on Paris to bring on the glamour and I love her hair here too
  • I was in two minds with this one because what is that hair?! But the make up looks wonderful and that Armani Prive dress is beautiful. It's infuriating because she is in a stunning custom made gown in that stunning cobalt blue and ruins it with that hair!
  • Miranda Lambert wore a a black dress by Gabriela Cadena, it's the little additions that make this look work. The hot pink straps on the gown add a dash of colour and match her lips exactly and that graphic Kotur box clutch adds some funk
My best dressed for the Grammy's goes to Taylor Swift. One of my favourites from her ever.
